Indeed dc but I have learnt when dealing with Telcos, power providers and such the email works much better for me. Phone enquiries always seem to end in tears. Well I have to take issue with you here dc. Most of the movies I watch have a very limited soundtrack and dialogue. However, the intent is clear and there is generally a happy ending.

I recently queried my internet provider about some incorrect charges. Here is an excerpt from their reply. "Our sincere apologies these errors has not been brought to light earlier and amounts had already erroneous been extracted for the uncancelled ADSL services. We will ensure these cancelled for future reference." Well that's good .... I think.

That first half was a shocker - I wonder what caused such terrible disposal from both sides.

Had lunch with Biffen today. It's apparently good for the soul to mix with people from the more dubious social strata. Anyway Biffen chose the location and again it was a dingy little inn in some god forsaken backwater. Well the food!! It came either drowned in tomato sauce or needed to be, to mask the underlying "taste" Biffen, to demonstrate the sophistication gained from his recent Asian jaunt, created a scene. He demanded sweet chilli sauce Not only that but it had to be "Kan tong" or some such because that is "orthentic" FMD ! How humiliating!

Fogger!! Back from the dead!

Oh dear, and I had such high hopes for yesterday. I should have read the omens when a teenage couple sat near me on the train in from Scumbury and I was mesmerised by the young lady spending most of the journey squeezing pimples on her boyfriend's face. Still there was hope because I knew my uncouth hangers on weren't attending. Then there were the two shabbily dressed and smelly fellows scurrying about on their knees stealing children's Easter Eggs. (Special and Squirrel I'm guessing) And then there was the football. Despite guzzling a gutfull I couldn't dull that particular pain. Ugh! Just thinking about! Haven't been so disappointed in a game since .... well since last week.

Let's just bury it now.
