I had my aunt's 60th birthday lunch in Kew. Checked the score about quarter time and wasn't too happy. A mate was there and sent me an sms saying "Don't bother coming." Well, my brother and I left the lunch and went to the game. We didn't listen to the radio at all on the way down and got there at 3/4 time. Moloney led the team today in Clangers and Frees against with 6 and 4 respectively. He also had 0 contested marks, 0 goal assists (so his long bombs into the fwd fifty were so effective), 0 centre clearances and 0 1%ers. Not to mention his sheer stupidity robbed us of our momentum. He has to go.

From what I've heard Neaves would be good to see on the senior list but I think we should look closely at Martin. I remember from before last years draft there was an article in the Herald Sun that had him rated as a first round draft pick, then he never got drafted for some reason.2It must be hard for these two young fella's as they would rarely get a lot of game time when there is almost always one of PJ or Jamar in the Sandy firsts, both of whom are very very good at VFL level. I'd be pretty happy with a ruck division next year consisting of Seaby/Wood, Neaves and White with Whitey and Neaves sharing second ruck, and MArtin on the rookie list at the MFC if he's good enough.

Just McLean in for Chip IMO. It's pretty tough to drop anyone after you beat a team trying to get into the finals by 7 goals.

Murphy is only 192cm, the same height as Bate and Dunn, both of whom are generally thought to be too short to hold down a key position. He should not be trageted for trade IMO.

Not necessarily true in my opinon. Carlton only "kicked" 14.10 (14.17) to Melbourne's 19.9 (19.10). We had one rushed behind and they had 7. That said I don't know how many of those 7 came from their shots on goal. We did do well with the umps though, can't argue with that. And to the main topic, while Carlton don't deserve the number 1 pick I think they certainly need it more than we do.

Pagan was shafted by the board who told him to go for youth 2 years into his contract. If they'd told him at the start I think they'd be a fair bit further up the ladder. Hopefully Carlton continue the trend of winning the week after the coach is sacked/quits and lose their priority picks.
