  1. You shouldn't worry about that...the first thing I did when I arrived was ask one of the team's entourage if it's ok to take photos (being a closed session) and he told me it's no problem at all. I asked him what "closed session" meant and he replied that it's just not advertised; I suspect however that it means no media or spies from other clubs ;-)
  2. Were you the guy armed with two Canons and a couple of nice lens? If I'd known I would have said hello.
  3. Yeah, that's partly the reason for putting both of those sequences up...Watts exemplifies what they should all be aiming for...perfection!
  4. I doubt JKH will be one of the three, particularly based on what I've seen at the first 3 sessions for the year. ANB is likely to be in the firing line before him.
  5. I think the one Copuchas is referring to was towards the end of the session and was virtually a standing shot with no run up at all...I commented to him at the time I thought it was closer to 60m. It split the middle and hit just below the top of the netting.
  6. A few shots from today with more to come if we make it along to this evening's session with the women's team (edit: forget that last bit...women's was yesterday and next is tomorrow...damnit!).
  7. Think I saw it mentioned somewhere that there was a AFL "orientation" session for new recruits at Ethihad yesterday?
  8. I suppose that depends on what you come up with (including impartial sources), doesn't it. It won't necessarily change my views on climate change.
  9. No, the fact that you twist my words (which were obviously citing your comments) to suit your own agenda and avoid answering the question, says it all. No admission on my part at all. Now try answering the question.
  10. As I said in a response to you a long time ago "Oh yes, those facts that the rest of the world has chosen to ignore in order to commit to an outcome at the Paris talks." Now where is your irrefutable (note that word) proof that the committees have been stacked? In the meantime keep up your support for "ostrich politics" and your hip pocket.
  11. Hey, I've seen abacus users out perform people on calculators doing extremely complex mathematical calculations!
  12. Yep, the science is being flushed down the toilet and into the swamp he's been topping up to the point of overflow.
  13. Thanks! Nah, Cross was looking straight past me as opposed to through me...fortunately ?
  14. I was actually pretty impressed with Spencer's kicking today...hopefully it's something he's been working on which will improve his chances at getting the back-up ruck spot.
  15. In no particular order, a list that would change every time I tried to write it: Hassa Mann Tassie Johnson Stan Alves Robbie Flower Garry Lyon Jeff Farmer Jim Stynes Aaron Davey Max Gawn Liam Jurrah
  16. Nice finally putting a face to the great photography and to have an albeit brief chat.
  17. No worries...loved the dog. My son and I are down from Sydney until next Thursday and will get along to the training sessions on Monday and Wednesday of next week; so if I see you there I'll say hello. Max Gawn informed me that Mondays session will start later than normal (10 or 11?) and Wednesday is back to 9:30.
  18. I've got a few shots up on Facebook with public access...
  19. The tennis may be over, but then we have to suffer all of that and more in these forums in the months that follow
  20. I checked again and Madder Lake opened for the Rolling Stones at Kooyong. I was at that concert as well, hence the confusion.
  21. I have a vague recollection that at the start of this year, the first training session of the new year was on the Thursday at Gosch's followed by a session at Casey on the Friday... firstly, is my memory correct and if so, secondly, does anyone know if that is going to be the case again this time around? My son and I are driving down from Sydney and arriving on Tuesday, so I'm trying to organise things so that we can get to both sessions. The reason I'm asking here is that there is nothing as yet on the club's website and as there are a few here with all of the info about player movements etc, they must surely have the connections that can provide them with the training dates/times
