Gee I seriously thought he'd stay. Imagine that phone call to Leon Cameron. This is going to hurt the giants big time and set them back. However in saying that yes he is a key forward and we all know how good he is but he wasn't great this season. He is very hot and cold. Maybe he is frustrated with the lack of success that the giants haven't reached yet. Well I guess we aren't in the running but I'd rather see him at geelong than collingwood or essendon.

Ugh at least if Port got in we could go for them. But geelong v richmond yuck. The worst part is we have to wait all evening for it. If richmond win it there will be no fan fare at punt rd. Oh Port just faltered in a prelim. Richmond's defence was very good and they didn't allow Dixon to impact at all. Port just seemed to lose there structure and continued to bomb it in allowing Nankervis to mark it.

Sadly I think tonight will be on sided. If Ryder was in for the saints I'd give them a chance but I think the tigs will be to experienced for them. In saying that I hope the saints can win. Look I'm glad that there is another club out there that has players wanting to leave. It's also better it's a big club and there new coach hasn't officially started yet on his own and he has players wanting out. Essendon isn't a destination club like it used to be. I'm laughing at the supporters just venting how angry they are, hearing Mattty Lloyd talk about how it's sad what happening. In a way I hope Merrett goes to at some stage then that will really hurt them. Look they are going to get some early draft picks and get some young talent in but essendon fans aren't patient and they want success. We can only hope it's a mile away.
