its at Margaret court arena raising money for Novak's charity.

Tonight Maxy is going to challenge Novak Djokovic with some AFL stuff along with other athletes for Novak's charity. Wonder what the great tennis player will make of big Maxy.

Good to see sponsors actually want to stick with us now. Oh and we have found another sports person to give a melbourne jumper to. Canadian tennis player Milos Raonic. Hope he realises he is standing next to a superstar.

Gee it's nice to read that Hogan is home in WA and not have all the speculation on here about him returning home. -
CLAYTON OLIVER is an anagram of "OVER LIMIT NO, CLAY!" But I think PJ will not cop this and may give him a talking to after Good win deals with him. Welcome to senior coaching Simon.

Well im quite annoyed. Firstly what made him think it was ok to get behind the wheel after drinking. I do not care if he had just 1 drink. The rule states for everyone if you are on your p plates its 0 limit. So have no idea what he was thinking and is passengers with him should have also known better. Its just lucky he didnt cause a major accident which could have had disastrous consequences. Hope he learns from it and pull his head in.

THE BOMBERS' DOPING SAGA - THE FAT LADY SINGS

The thing that really grates at the bummers fans is that Mitchell may receive it. I guess he handed it back before the AFL officially stripped it off him. Geez Turd really stuffed up didnt he? -
Well I hope the fixture turns around and we play the saints at the G later on. The AFL better not have us playing the saints in a home game at etihad again. It's the perfect challenge for Goodwin and the team. If we want to be a top 8 team then these are the games we need to win. Cant believe the scum get rewarded with a saturday night game. Hope the hawks smash them. They should have been given a 1:10 game on the sunday.

No way in hell do they deserve to have a friday night game. Wow so the efc want us to celebrate the returning of the players who were banned for 12 mths and the AFL will give them a friday night game to a club who bought the game into disrepute for a number of years. I do not want to play them r1. Im sick of being the away team. Play them in r10 or middle of the season. They want to have another one of those marches again. Eddie and Luke Darcy were right this morning. Essendon can just wait and get back to the queue for those games. This is a team that finished on the bottom. You know who deserves friday night r1. The bulldogs where they can unveil there premiership flag. Not against us though.

Exactly and thats why I wish him all the best. He could have easily gone but he chose to stay loyal and sign on. But good luck at collingwood. I reckon he will go hard on the sledges when we are lining up for goal. But watching him play that vfl gf well I wasnt that impressed with him. But with the pies getting rid of some of there backline he would want to play well down there. Wonder if Bucks will give him free reign to torp them out of the backline.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - JORDAN LEWIS
dees189227 replied to spirit of norm smith's topic in Melbourne Demons
I believe him when he said he and Clarko are still good friends. They are going to have a few premiership reunions together. Anyway he is ours now . Wonder what number he will wear. But its great to see a player of that caliber and skill and also leadership want to come to our club. Also this is the first free agency period where we havent lost a player. In the past we have had howe, frawley sylvia which wasnt a big loss but now players are re-signing with us. -

Imagine the experience he would bring to our midfield. He will be great for Brayshaw, Hunt even Viney and it's another player to help out Jones. Its another big body in there to help out. It would be kind of cool to have him. -
I bet when Brad decided to get rid of the 4 players he would never have thought he'd lose wells and now maybe Goldsetin. If they lose him they are going to go down very fast. Its pretty funny. I hope Goldy does go. The nth fans will be fuming. Geez pick 88 for Mitchell. Best bargain ever.

I just cant understand why he would want to come to us. I mean we won't win the premiership next year and hopefully but maybe not play finals either. Does he want September off or something. But is is nice to actually see a player want to come to our club. Geez Clarko seems to be putting some noses out of joint. -
Yeah that was my thoughts. No other club made an offer or showed any interest. His manager said that last week he hasn't had any offers. I reckon he thought a club in flag contention would come knocking. The thing is he still never retired on his terms unlike Enright and probably Bartel. That would still grate with him.

Jade Rawlings job over the summer is to come up with a play that works for us when we have to kick out when the opp kicks a behind. We struggle with this and kicking it to your self then kicking it long near the boundary to our ruckman doesn't always work.

Jesse Hogan re-signs to end of Season 2019
dees189227 replied to Lucifers Hero's topic in Melbourne Demons
Wow he knew what he was doing. Everyone else just jumped to conclusions and people on here went nuts which turned other people into believing he was going. But he made his choice and a good one at that. It's nice to see him stay with us unlike past players. Thank god we can go into 2017 with him locked away. No talk or speculation. When I heard the news on SEN this morning it gave me an extra spring in my step. -
Sons of the West - weak effort.
dees189227 replied to Bitter but optimistic's topic in Melbourne Demons
Well in all fairness why would they organise it today. But apparently the players will go up to Ballarat soon they said today. But yeah you would have thought to start off building a relationship with them they should have gone up. Guess thats little things they didn't think of. But I'm sure they will be there. Well what about the swans team. They buggered back off to sydney without even a thankyou to there swans based melbourne fans at lakeside oval. Unless you were lucky to be at there dinner sat night. -
Also just read Dale Morris played with 2 fractures in his back. Wow what an effort. also any team that finishes 7th, beats WC in Perth then Hawthorn the GWS away and then the minor premiers deserves this win today. I hope our team can find this belief next year.

Having been lucky enough to be there today, it was just a great gf to watch live and to witness. The dogs were magnificent. Who would have thought Tom Boyd would help his team win a flag before Buddy. He was brilliant today. 3 goals and wonderful contested marks. JJ being at the game did do well with the ball specially in the last half when he just ran with it. Instead of backing him for the 1st goal kicker should have out it on the norm smith instead. Franklin now has lost more gf than he has won. 2 losses in sydney colours. I know he said last week he didnt need to justify his contract with a flag but he kind of does. I mean the swans got him and Tippett to help achieve this not to just swan around Bondi. Buddy today just tried to charge through the dogs and got tackled every time. But wow the doggies were just brilliant today and well done to Luke Beveridge who created a culture that the players wanted to buy into. Fell for Murph but he didnt mope around this week he got behind the boys and nice how he was up on stage today. Nice win for the battlwers today. Now just need the storm to win and its been a great weekend.

VFL GRAND FINAL - CASEY SCORPIONS v FOOTSCRAY BULLDOGS
dees189227 replied to spirit of norm smith's topic in Melbourne Demons
In Trenners defense at least this pre season he will be able to join in and do a full one and be able to run. I won't write him off yet.
