I think the round 2 pick that GC got for their trade for O'Meara is what we will get for Warnock

Still have the compo picks they exist they are real they are able to be traded going forward We can still make a play this or next year for a more ready made player or in the next 5 coming years There's a lot of hype surrounding O'Meara and Crouch but I'm yet to hear of either of them wining best on ground in a loosing team in a Grand Final. We have our own very special young talent on the way we can trade compo picks all is not lost we wouldn't want to pay overs when 2012 looks a bumper draft. Plus GWS are dicks who wants to deal with satan

If that's what we offered and if that is what Adelaide has offered than we have truly been outplayed and the only conclusion to arrive at is that GWS has something against us and currently we haven't even arrived at the contest.

Daff saved Petterd's life that day and I believe he designed a lot of the protocol around treating concussion victims and taught other clubs how to look after these concussed players.

He could be considered to take over from Gary but I think the decision is a board one. Neeld would have little say about who is being appointed to the board in fact I would be surprised if he had any. I think Gary is sounding people out I thought I heard Gary might be putting the hard word on Gerard Healy. We wait and see this is an important position which will take time and consideration. -
AFL will clearly move goal posts to suit its agenda. For the AFL to be complicit in this tampering of the rules after the fact is abhorrent. With free agency coming in next year this is only going to get worse wait and see rules bent to cheat the system next year as well. GWS are definitely off the christmas card list

GWS aren't expected to be using all their allocated 17 year old picks during this draft they are expected to only use 2 and use 2 next year. Which means that next year what's stopping them from going after Crouch as the next best pick in the mini draft. It all hinges on the AFL's ruling regarding the the O'meara proposal 2 days to find out if they screw us again.

We have gotten what he can produce. There is nothing more to see with regards to Maric he has had ample opportunity the best thing for him would be a trade. Hopefully for his sake someone will pick him up.

Thanks HT for finding that quote, Clearly we are dealing with a different beast when we talk about GWS they have an age profile of core recruits they want at the moment and that would be under 23 years age. There appears no willingness to make a side that is competitive with mature players. GWS is being built on a glut of the youngest prospects in the land this is against the intention of the rules put in place to bring them to reality hopefully everyone is playing on the same field GWS aren't playing by the rules.

Really surprised that this hasn't been thrashed out it is looking the way of Bruce last year. No doubt we'll find out what is going to happen I hope we keep him. How many others are yet to be signed?

They have got to be mad if they don't sure up their defence The way they shape up at the moment nobody is going to want to watch them record scores will be broken. Warnock will hold down a full back position for the next 3-4 seasons for GWS. As part of a compo picks deal I think it couldn't be better for GWS. Colin Young is Warnock's Manager by the way

Our club song is the only one that doesn't mention where we are from i.e. Melbourne or who we are i.e. demons That said I am a stickler for tradition and I wouldn't change it The duelling banjos I haven't noticed before but it's not that bad. The one thing I'd like to see change is that it's sung a lot more throughout the season
