  1. If he was a liability last night, then I am no judge.I thought he played surprisingly well.Judgement was good. Won on the night.
  2. GOOD POINT ,ALTHOUGH WHEN ONE DISECTS THE ALL AUSTRALIAN TEAM ,YOU FIND 2009 AFL Under-18 All-Australian team B: Andrew Hooper (Victoria Country) Blayne Wilson (Western Australia) Bradley Sheppard (Western Australia) HB: Josh Toy (Victoria Metro) Daniel Talia (Victoria Metro) David Swallow (Western Australia) C: Anthony Morabito (Western Australia) Dustin Martin (Victoria Country) Mitchell Duncan (Western Australia) HF: Kane Lucas (Western Australia) Jack Darling (Western Australia) Gary Rohan (Victoria Country) F: Brandon Matera (Western Australia) Matthew Panos (South Australia) Ben Cunnington (Victoria Country) Foll: James Craig (South Australia) Jack Trengove (South Australia) Tom Scully (Victoria Metro) Int: Luke Tapscott (South Australia) Ryan Harwood (Tasmania) Dylan McNeil (NSW/ACT) Travis Colyer (Western Australia) Coach: Andrew Lockyer (Western Australia) — Assistant coach: Brenton Phillips (South Australia) Blayne Wilson has been picked up by Gold Coast,Sheppard has been talked about as a late first round or early 2nd. Woewoeden whom coaches him thinks he could be a great pick up.Ditto- Lucas. Swallow and Darling are too young for this years Draft- expected to go 1&2 next year to GC.Matera also expected to go to GC. Colyer,Duncan talked about as as second round picks. Morabito will go top5.Also have alook at last years All Australian, the WA players were picked up, but very late or rookie--Pearce,Deboer,Walters.,although the standouts went early- Naitanui,Rich,Hill. Also, in my opinion andI have been watching these kids for over 40 years now- they are more equal ability this year, not as many standouts. Actually, I feel the draft will leave alot of extremely good footballers except not many that become champions. Except SCULLY and MARTIN. I also think that recruiters tend to pick players from their own state if they can. Wait and see how many are picked from SA -Iam tipping 6
  3. As I STATED EARLIER REMINDS ME OF A YOUNG GOODES. TEST WILL BE TODAY. COACH WILL PUT A BIG PLAYER ON HIM TODAY- SEE HOW HE GOES.and again today, when he played to go into a ground final was a little Franklin like, Kicked two goals and is in a Grand final versus Scully.
  4. My understanding this website allows one to have an opinion. Mine is that Mahoney is the weak link in our coaching. I have not been critical of him at all. All I am saying we need a specialist to coach, mainly our talls in kicking. Please tell me where I have been critical of Mahoney at all. Please read my points before you go off your gab.
  5. you should take it on seeing you are such a no all
  6. Also noticed on Twitter today that Emma Quayle was spruiking McMillan-Pittard from Geelong Falcons and Jake Carlisle from the Cannons.
  7. It is my belief that the weak link in our Coaching is Mahoney. He was a very tenacious footballer who wouldn't die. Great to develop young small footballers(maybe) but we need to have someone for others to look up to.Someone whom was a great kick -to show players , if we retain them- mainly Newton and or Miller where to shoot.Ido not rate Mahoney as a coach for what they require. They need a SPECIALIST It was brought to my attention today- someone lke Quinlan or Roach would be great.I here Watts is a very good kick which is great. If Newton and or Miller are retained..gee and if they can turn those points into goals, we will really be successful next year. Also, whilst we have been and will recruit great kicking midfielders ,it is the forwards who need to finish it off.THEY CAN MAKE OR BREAK A GAME
  8. Dappa Dan- tend to agree with you.I think having a fast outside player like Scully could make Jones and to a lesser degree McLean. Scully reads that play so well, Jones & McLean will be able to pass the ball over to him without the threat of being caught. Scully is very quick off the mark- where Jones gets caught too many times. Jones an elite- no for me but will improve dramatically as per reasons above
  9. After today's news regarding Wayne Carey, I now feel he is most probably best to sort out his own personal life. With brother charged over drugs, himself being investigated further and now today reporting his scrap with ex girlfriend -we all could do without this. Bring on OX ,Neita or someone to help our forwards please is all I ask
  10. I believe you would be referring to: No 48- Gary Rohan. Listed as 188 72 - does not give date of birth. However, he is the one that Turner from the Falcons claims is among their best ever. I do not agree to that.
  11. AGREE-HW WON THE GAME VIRTUALLY LITERALLY COME WATCH HIM PLAY- HE IS A BLOODY BEAUTY
  12. GREAT SUGGESTIOM. HOPEFULLY YOU WILL SEE HIM PLAY TOMORROW
  13. are you coming tomorrow.Pls notify me

    thks JCB

  14. And may ruin his future- re Egan at Geelong
  15. Been given this alot of thought and I feel the key to our success in 2010 i in the guts: I think JAMAR(if he stays)- ruck strength ,around the ground and resting up forward. McLEAN- needs to lift dramatically- if he can get the ball out to others- we will be in greater scoring shots. FRAWLEY- if he xan still progress and stop gorillas- this will help enormously. BENNELL-HUGE year for him & us. We need to stop the quick, running small forward. Bruce- Whilst running out of time- his experience all over the ground is very important to the whole team equally McDonald
  16. I agree- better tha the footy show Sam is a bloody disgrace- how he gets 3MILLION A YEAR BEATS ME- Should give half to the MFC. His performance last night was pathetic.
  17. I believe you will, however, if you have doubts you could come to Visy Park tomorrow - old Optus Oval- Cartton's ground and watch him play for free.. Game starts at 2pm. Earlier game will also see Ben Griffiths, Jake Carlisle etc @ 11.15 am.Be there !
  18. totally agree with you- we need elite footballers and a full time specialist coach such as Scot West to develop them.To me this is our fundamental requirement and someone to assist with kicking for goal.
  19. That would be great- the only way that I'd like is through the PSD. He dos not suit us if we have to trade for him
  20. Yes -expectd to be picked up quite early but not top10.Others include: Moore,Kennedy, Gysberts,McDonald, whilst a smokie is Ryan Wilson.
