POSTGAME: QF vs Sydney
We lost clearance when it mattered, our tackles didn’t stick, we were undisciplined and gave away 3 goals from 50s, our inside 50 method was horrible for most of the game again and we missed gettable shots.

All our entries have been to the picket so far. They’re going central.

TEAMS: QF vs Sydney
Both teams look very strong on paper. Will be a cracking game but confident our best wins.

2022 All Australian Team
For starters, Hawkins only kicked 16 goals against top 8 teams (8 games, 2 goals/game) and Lynch kicked 19 goals against top 8 teams from 5 games (3.8 goals/game) and kicked more goals overall despite playing 5 less games. It was an objectively superior body of work.

2022 All Australian Team
Rozee finished 5th in the coaches votes 1 behind Tracc and 10 behind Clarry and Miller. He deserves his spot. how Tom Lynch doesn’t get in ahead of Hawkins is beyond me though. Clearly wanted a cats captain.

CHANGES: Rd 23 vs Brisbane
Will cop it for this but I’d seriously consider bringing Weid for Jackson. I think we’re really struggling with our ruck combo at the moment. We’re playing Max forward too much because Jackson gives us nothing inside 50. But Max isn’t scoring enough and although Jackson is rucking a lot more minutes he’s not as good a ruckman as Max so we’re not as potent in the middle. Weid is at least a forward who chops out in the ruck which would improve our balance. He would offer more than Jackson forward and force Max to take more ruck minutes, both of which I think are positive. Otherwise, Spargo was putrid, Neal-Bullen continues to make poor decisions and Sparrow had no impact. Would probably bring Harmes in at a minimum to tag Neale and look at a small forward who might occasionally trouble the scorers.

Spargo’s efforts in the last 2 mins have been pitiful. Run away from two contests.

Got what he deserved……
To be clear I meant the media 100%

I can’t believe nobody has mentioned Pendlebury dropping his elbow into Langdon’s face on the ground. Langdon should’ve received a free for that first tackle. Howe is a nobody.

Our biggest issue is...
That Blicavs role has to be one of the most overblown performances of the year. Oliver had 34 touches and kicked a goal. Petracca had 21 and kicked 3. Both were in the coaches votes in a losing side. As nice as the “Blicavs can do anything” narrative is, I’m not sure it’s 100% factual.

POSTGAME: Rd 17 vs Geelong
They won’t smash us like that in the midfield again so not going to panic. But we’ve got some work to do if that’s our strongest team.

GAMEDAY: Rd 17 vs Geelong
Smashed in the stoppage. Played too much of the game in our d50. Struggling for forward connection. Can’t remember May playing a worse game. Still reckon we’d have them covered in finals.

Can’t win a clearance. Need to dominate stoppage from here.
