I can understand that Kozzie will have low possession games and patches where goals are leaner… I t’s a hard position to play. But for the first time this week I thought his effort was really poor, he looked like he wasn’t trying at times. Some of his half chases probably still counted as pressure acts but he needs to lift his intensity. That’s the non-negotiable part of his game and the goals will come if he gets that right, he’s too talented. But we need more from him.

For the first time I genuinely think Kozzie needs a spell at Casey.

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. Same selection mistakes. Same disposal errors. Same bombing into the F50 with no structure. Are we the only team that doesn’t even try to create/find a leading target inside the forward line? We need 2 genuine tall forwards, not one plus an ineffective ruck/forward and an ineffective Joel Smith. He needs to go back to Casey so we can at least try a half conventional forward setup. And Max/Grundy needs a rethink.

Looks pretty light against what North stood to receive for Horne-Francis (before the deal got scuppered by the AFL). Sydney actually remind me a bit of our 2018 side. A few years early and embarrassed in the finals but a lot of upside on the list.
