  1. too right he is. I've gone to school with boys playing footy/cricket and cross country against him, and since year 7 its been the general consensus that he is an absolute freak and will do well.
  2. thats great! i wonder if they popped in on any other Jurrahs playing footy in NT...
  3. not sure how I'll handle listening to cricket when he's gone. Its been playing on my mind all winter!
  4. all mind games. I doubt we'd use pick 11 or 18 on him, and if we don't someone else will pick him. and seriously, if no one does, I think Ball will fully deserve it. I know I'll laugh.
  5. great reports Rollo! spot on. That last 6 minutes... not too shabby!
  6. just wondering, i can't find it on the website, how much is a base membership (just a poor student!).
  7. I gave up bored after first couple columns. Biggest story I've seen in the Age sport (i read every weekday) all year. for what? a book about a club? really?
  8. I've been trying to work that out for months... thanks.
  9. its telling me that due to popular demand its not working, is the video available anywhere else?
  10. I think Pringle said he was getting to it...
  11. Maybe he's been talking to Hoopla...
  12. wonder if it was vis. com, history or IT... congratulations to him, I can fully sympathise. But yeah, your right, i reckon something to quietly look forward to.
  13. So I reckon the extra picks and Meesen off our senior list means we'll definatly look to draft a ruckman in the ND.
  14. i'm liking it. seems like everything we needed to happen has, and we haven't had any painful goodbyes.
  15. I smiled... good summary.
  16. I thought they could still be rookied with another club? If so, in essence they are recieving same money, getting a chance in ND and RD with security of Melbourne list if it comes to that.
  17. I think he's one of our nominated rookies. (do you have one or two? can't remember.)
  18. Belzebub, I don't even understand your question..
  19. My cousin is 17 and 206cm ruckman, doesn't mean i reckon he's going to play AFL footy. Takes a heap more, not to say Gawn won't make it though. Just saying don't pin your hopes on his measurements.
  20. Enforcer, read the other post about Mature rookies... edit: Or rhino can post before i get there...
  21. why not Puma and Collingwood?
  22. Melbourne gave fans plenty to like after round 1 against Hawks, where Melbourne just got pipped by 5 points. Great games from Davey and Sylvia first up. Against Collingwood, Jamar was able to challenge Jolly and got a fair share of first use to Jones, Moloney and Scully. Dees notch up their first win against the old enemy. High from their first win of the season, Dees go in confident, but unfortunately this young side is unable to back it up. Jurrah is a highlight with a 4 goal bag. Richmond are sitting in 1-2 under new coach, Hardwick, and come into this game against Melbourne with some confidence, but Scully hits his straps for a 25 possession, 2 goal game, including 3 clearances. Taking the game away from the Richmond midfield with the assistance of Davey and Grimes. Bate kicked 3 goals. Brisbane have looked fearsome so far and sit at 3-1, Fevola and Brown kicking a combined 23 goals between them already. Fevola goes down with a heel injury in first 5 minutes, and without another forward target, Frawley and Warnock ensure Brown has no impact. Melbourne run out 18 point winners. BOG goes to Sylvia with 23 possessions and 3 goals off HFF. after 5 rounds, Melbourne sit 2-3 at 12th, and their season sits in the balance. Trengove seems to have settled in well, and was playing consistently, unfortunatly scully suffered from a bit of close treatment first game, but was raring to go week after with a Rising Star nom vs Collingwood. Jurrah already had 12 goals, was very hard for oppostion to match up. Watts struggled early, but had solid games running off HFF against Adelaide and Brisbane, had 7 goals. Petterd had rewarded his coaches faith in him after a terrible NAB cup, and was consistently getting possessions and is a standout.
  23. Our pleasure Revival, good to see you posting too!
  24. loved the sacrifice Supermercado. My photos will be around sooner or later (if they're any good, or even if their not...) Good wins!
  25. From what I understand, he's slipped a bit because of the perceived lack of potential improvement in him. A little one-dimensional.
