Remember it was Bleases first proper year and preseason after injury and he kicked 5 in one game and 2 and 3 in other games, will only get better after another preseason

Footy was at its best when you could get there early and watch a bit of the under 19's,then the reserves being thoroughly entertained by the up and coming talent and Ray Jordan's voice screaming out instructions to the troops. Dont need all the razzle dazzle, the game says it all. I love music, but ill go to concerts and listent cds for that...my own taste of exactly what i want to hear and see. I go to the footy to watch football....and maybe a pie or two.

Thanks BH great report. I know Rodan personally, and i can tell you he is champing at the bit,and really wants to prove a few people wrong. Feels a full preseason will benefit him greatly. His Knees are fine and infact has never felt better. He is a super fit guy and could easily go on another 3 or 4 years. Top bloke to boot!

This site seems to be divided between Watts supporters and Watts bashers. Fact is he led the league in intercepts in the 2 month period he was playing without injury last season. Fact is he has taken more marks kicks and Handballs so far in his carreer than Natanui and Hurley,who he is constantly compared to. Fact is he is a year youngerthan both of them, and infinitely more skilled. As an effectively 3rd year player he is the second most efficient by foot at the whole club. He will fill out, only still a kid really. Lastly, he is here to stay so get used to it , all you so called supporters of the Melbourne football club.

No i saw Newton and Bate a good honest battlers with no real special attributes Watts however has fantastic vision,very good skills, and great pace for his size.(and he is still very young)

Jack Watts has Skill ,A good football brain and good speed for his size. They cant all be Gorillas.

Experienced outside runners are what we need right now. Has good skills and fits the bill. My Bombers mates also say they ate surprised he was delisted. A yes from me.

He definately has an aura about him. Probably took over where Neitz left off, as far as what he brings to the side. I dont think they will dump Trenners and Grimesy though, both still good leaders.

This is excellent news if true. All i wanted was to secure Wines. If by some unfortunate circumstance we do get penalised, they can take picks off us next year and the following year, and possibly a fine. Dont really care about that because we have the players we wanted, Hogan,Viney Wines and Barry for future development,Billy stretch in two years. Its now time to hang onto players , develop from within and have a real crack!
