I dont mind the idea....plus the club are asking for suggestions so thought id contribute.

On Facebook the club is asking for suggestions on what song should we play as the team runs out, after the club song. Ill get us started with Hells Bells or Highway to hell ACDC Also thought of , Action by The Sweet or Heroes. David Bowie.

There is no evidence that anyone conspired to lose games. Team changes, fumbling the ball, trying players in new positions etc. happen every week n football. No rules have been broken : This is where our solicitors will have a field day, and the fact that there is no clear definition of tanking.

I have an old Mayne Nicklass trainig top from the late seventies. I also have an original weg poster from the herald sun for the hatrick premierships from 1957 Also have a David Scwarz signed guernsey from before he did his knee And a pair of Demons VFL shorts from the seventies as well.

I recieved a warning point because i advocated that someome iron out Brock Mclean on the field afte his comments that got us into this mess. Ill always defend our club against anyone trying to drag us down.

Mark Fine was just sticking up for MFC on SEN just now. Stating how ridiculous the whole thing is based on a few comments made by Brock Mclean. Implored the AFL to get off Melbournes back, citing many other examples of clubs such as Carlton, Richmond,Freo,Collingwood,Hawthorn etc etc, doing exactly the same thing in certain games experimenting with players in different positions, not tagging, resting players, using less interchange etc. He said it was akin to a school headmaster walking into a room full of misbehaving children and singling one out of the pack , grabbing them by the ear and marching them out for punishment.

It actually sounds like good news.....if all they have are Connollys flippant remarks, i dont think we have too much to worry about

I work with his grandson also a good bloke...terrific family. Yes Tony was a Dees supporter and a true gentleman.

Havent seen many reports on how the boys went on their Kakadu trek? Weve been getting great reports everyday on the club website but still nothing from yesterday.
