When you are trying to build a strong club, you cant afford to recruit weak characters that may lead others astray.

It's pretty obvious that Neeld is building a team of hard at it strong bodied men. With a few skilled speedsters on the outside, ala Blease, Barry, Toumpas and again some big bodied power forwards. We is gonna be some sort of unit!

Look at the swans Hawks grand final. The contested ball stats won it. Hawks foot skills meant nothing because Swans had more of it.

Comparing Watts to Patton is ridiculous because untill he plays 50 games you cant compare. Look more at Hawkins,or a Goddard, who also were not that great in their frst 50 games. I think he will be better than both of those by the way. Hodge and Ball were always compared to Judd, but its all relative, and you cant really judge untill theyve played 100 games or so, again look at Jones who gets better every year.
