I hope we make the most of this opportunity and win big tomorrow. We can not only move up to third , but if the Crows beat Port and we keep winning and Port drop one more we could finish second.

I’ve completely switched off most footy media now except for the front bar. Anything with David King, Kane Cornes, Robbo, Whateley, Buckley is instant switch stations for me and I’m loving the peace of mind.

It’s all media noise and Buckley him self was an unsuccessful coach so he cant tell a premiership coach in Goodwin how he should handle his players. Grundy is high profile so it’s causing alot of debate, but in the end it’s about what’s best for the team period. Sure some might feel sorry for him , but what about a Dunstan or a Tomlinson? Its just about getting the right mix and putting us in the best shape and position to win another flag.

These days it means he has amazing reflexes the way he moves

I’ve absolutely loved Trac and Melksham up forward the last couple of weeks. Also think Kozzie is so much better running on the ball from higher up the ground than sitting in the forward pocket. The talls still need work though as I don’t think JVR is quite there yet. Brown works hard but can’t take a contested mark We may yet see Grundy back up forward or even TMac if he can get fit. Still have Fritter up our sleeve for finals

How good was Vineys goal when he basically ripped it out if the Lions players hand , did a spin and snapped it! Pure will power and strength. That gave us real belief and everyone grew another leg after that.

I really wanted that win, can’t stand Brisbane. Gawn was awesome and us much better as the main ruck. Good to see Kozzie used on ball and thought he worked back into form tonight. Woeys goal was sensational, but how clutch was Melksham?

I think a fully fit Grundy will be a valuable asset to us either in the finals this year or next year. I don’t believe he has been fully fit all year , hence opposing ruckman getting off the leash in a few games. So we rest him and try something else with JVR as the stakes are starting to get much higher and we need to start to see what out best side looks like. When Clarry comes back it’ll be a luxury to leave Trac up forward and we will really stretch some sides. Hopefully Fritter returns a week or two before finals and we can really do some damage, but we just need to bank a few wins to finish top 4 and give us the best chance to succeed.

Grundy in doubt

Sounds weird but I’d love to see Kozzie and bowey swap positions as something left field, even for a quarter. Every time I see Bowser at training he is slotting them through from all angles , and I’d hate to be a small forward being chased by Koz. Might give him a new lease on life ala Nick Daicos and be more creative.

Failed coach Buckley has gone down several cogs in my book. Its the worse lot of miserable naysayers I’ve ever seen in my football supporting life. Its not footy classified it’s Funeral classified. I can’t stomach most of them , and only really watch the front bar and a bit of the Sunday footy show these days as anything else is just click bait and unbearable doom and gloom.

I thought that was a very good win against a very tight defensive unit. Trac and May were both brilliant and we looked well balanced and I even like Brown and Melksham work. Thought Jordon and sparrow were good too.

I’ve gone from being angry and very disappointed in the last couple of losses to very confident we will win our next block of games. we perform better when our backs are against the wall and I reckon they are champing at the bit to prove the doubters wrong

Plan A in relation to our forward line isn’t working and we have no plan B Injuries to key players as well, as our season slips away, are we on life support and have we wasted another year with this list, and with Gawn now past his best?
