Straight swap for Clark?

Must say whether we get Dangerfield or not I'm really enjoying this thread....congratulations on some good work everybody.

Salivating at the prospect......with Roos guiding him, hopefully a new lease of life. Anyone that can run down Boomer, average 38 goals a year and also very good in the air will be huge for us.

I don't mind him, but it think Roos has targeted very carefully. We now have or Crumbing forward in Garlett, we have a running playmaker back in Lumumba, and we will get Frost a Key back. Now I think we will go for the best Mids we can get and maybe another tall forward in McCartin.

I feel, Geelong are holding us up a bit with nothing for Clark as yet.

I like it, we need a quick forward crumbed type.

We have been awful quiet so far.....makes think there is something big brewing........my guess is Dangerfield, Mitchell , Beams or even a Shiel, or Treloar ,Frost deal. If not , well, I'll be happy with picks 2 and 3....two of Brayshaw, McCartin or Petracca.

I would be very happy with Brayshaw and McCartin, both look ready made to me.

My take is, if we don't look like landing a big fish ala Danger, then we use our picks for ourselves and pick the best two available. Then we should throw the bucks at Malcevski, so our new acquisitions are balanced with the best possible outcome. Lubumba and Malcevski as experienced A graders and Brayshaw, Stretch, frost and Mcartin round out a beautifully balanced bunch. Experience , running backs , talented young ,mids, a young back and a young forward. We may even pick up a Garlett along the way so we get a crumber as well.

If we offer him 850k per year for the next Seven years, and the chance to be coached by Roos as well as Goodwin who is well respected in Adelaide circles! as well as all the good vibes from a guy like Vince who has made the move, and loves it in Melbourne, it could be very tempting.....also no Sloane to take Brownlow votes off him, so a chance to win one, and be the " Super star" player of the oldest club in the land.

Well he is a habitual facility user.

I don't know.....declaring himself "Gifted" and a "Prince" He is a footballer for god sake, he is not Martin Luther king, or Nelson Mandela, but I feel he thinks he is some sort of Crusader. As long as he plays good footy that's all I care about, but I do prefer the humble types.

Look, I really only care about his ability on the football field, and how he helps our team . He does have a rather high opinion of himself though doesn't he?

This guy is seriously delusional.....seems mentally unstable. I'd be surprised if he lasted the year out playing footy.
