Brisbane have done well haven't they? Securing Beams and Christensen

We've been a bottom team for years now and need to shake the place up and do some drastic things......were not playing happy campers here, it's about being a feared football side once again, and some people are probably going to get hurt along the way.

Some say we shouldn't pay overs , but I believe we should move heaven and earth. A guy who consistently finishes top 5 in the brown low year after year, and someone who drags the team along with him, a huge tank, goal kicker and match winner? We've been down too long.......it's time to rise

Robbie was a superstar, his on field exploits are legendary.......Trengove hasn't really shown anything yet. I admire loyalty , but that alone will not win us games, and once again become a power,and I care about that more.

I'm not too precious about players, as all I want is to see the Red and Blue up there again....and we ain't gonna get there by being too sentimental. Having said that I would rather keep Trengove the player rather than draft a young kid. If the deal is being considered to help us get something bigger, then I'm all for it.

Not much is being said about Mitchell or Christensen. It was originally stated that Carlton were after Mitchell , but nothing since. Mahoney said we wouldn't be doing our job if we didn't talk to Christensen's manager . Either could be a smokey for us, but I'd also be surprised if Frost was the only GWS player we are talking to,so Shiel or Treloar might also be a chance. I still get the feeling if we don't get Danger that one of these guys might come to us,mainly because we know that Roos really really wants another experienced mid.

I wouldn't want Griffen, any captain that walks out on his club, has a bad feel to it.

If we want Mitchell and have been in talks with him, does that now mean that a trade is not allowed to happen with Sydney?

Just saw some Wright highlights and was impressed......he is a big unit, and plays centre half forward and Ruck. He might just compliment Hogan perfectly as I see McCartin as a similar type to Hogan. A difficult choice though, hope we take one of them along with Brayshaw.

But getting him virtually for pick 61 means he comes to us for a late pick anyway you look at it. The alternative would have been Jeff nominating for the draft, and someone else would have picked him up a lot earlier.

I think our midfield will be vastly improved, with Lumumba having stints on the wing, and Garlett spending some time in the middle as well. Don't forget Stretch and Brayshaw, and an improved Toumpas Salem and Trengove with Viney and Tyson a year older with another preseason under their belts to compliment Jones and Vince. Frost to add depth to our backs and McCartin another forward option augers well for 2015.

It might not turn out so bad for the Bullies. Pick 4 will get them a tall forward in Wright, assuming we take Brayshaw and MacCartin. They may even play hard ball and get a Patton, Boyd or Cameron as a swap for Griffen.

Hopefully just a ploy....but with one week to go we will find out pretty soon.

He also said that Paddy wants to stay at Adelaide , so won't be happening. He did say , though, that we would contact, Griffin and Cristiansons management.

This is why we need to take McCartin at 3. If one of hogan or Dawes goes down we look too thin up top. Brayshaw at 2 and McCartin at 3 , presuming Petracca goes number 1.

It's probably because Frost wants to come to us and one key back is all we have targeted.
