He is a system coach. His system isn't working so he is useless as a coach. He should be developing his own skills as a coach, being agile enough to coach each game on its merits (especially with an experienced leadership group) but he has never been that kind of coach. It's been a great ride but his time is up.

Sure, but it's 2025 not 2023.

Sure, but on the flipside Petracca is a professional while Oliver is a man child who may or may not have resolved his off-field "issues". Petracca is also an impactful player who can change a game, Oliver is an accumulator who doesn't hurt opposition teams going forward and doesn't defend well.

Out of the three (Trac, Clarry and Kozzie) Oliver is the only one I wouldn't be too upset about if he left but he's also the one with the least trade value. We should stand firm on Petracca and Pickett, we would be mad to let either go.

Love this kid, one bright light from an otherwise bleak game. Lindsay looks like a ripper too, I know it's very early but he just seems like future captain material (in another 7 or 8 years).

He is still our best player and the only one with the ability to break games open. He is 30 but no reason he will fall off a cliff or that he can't go to the end of his contract (at least). Giving him away for nothing to the Pies would be idiotic.

Rebuild yes but not tearing the place down. If we lose any 2 of Petracca, Oliver or Kozzie we will be cooked for a long period of time. We need to cull the middle rung of players for picks and get rid of the dead weight anchoring the bottom quarter/third of the list (we all know who they are). Kozzie is still young, we can't afford to lose him. Petracca is damaging and can win games off his own boot. Oliver is an accumulator who no longer damages as he once did and doesn't hit the scoreboard, he would be the only one of the 3 I'd be happy to lose. We probably should have let Viney walk to the Kangas last year, big mistake in hindsight.

Staying the obvious here but Burgess was such a huge loss, he was as responsible as anyone for our 2021 season.

Why is he talking about premiership windows and flags? Their sole focus should be winning next Friday, this is exactly what I was talking about earlier.
