I reckon this should be done after every win we have at the G. Even if just a couple outside Gate 2 to capture some MCC members who perhaps haven't taken up the joint membership offer.

We need to rig the fixture to maximise attendances/revenue so we have money to prop up poor clubs. But the poor clubs don't work hard enough so why should we give them any money? AFLs version of trickle down economics

I want to see him kick more on occasions, there's times where he is a link in a chain streaming through the middle and rather than take a kick when he has a chance he can stop and go sideways/backwards halting our momentum somewhat. He is a beautiful kick as well.

Franklin hasn't even played half the season and Hogan is in much better form. Gawn is 3rd in AFLCA voting 10 votes ahead of Grundy. Rance at FB? He hasn't been that good especially early in the season. Typical robbo no idea.

We should host Anzac Eve one year, queen's bday the next. We should also get to host Essendon and Carlton every second year at minimum too instead of once a decade. Fix these and i have no issue, it may actually help build the day as Collingwood supporters will be more invested in making it a big game rather than seeing it as charity. We know the advantages Collingwood get out of it (reserved seating in Ponsford for example) but that shouldn't preclude us sharing the game.

It's not gonna be easy but it's no use freaking out and going all emo until we actually see how the team can respond. Like others have mentioned if we can't win because of one player then we're in trouble. We still have a stellar midfield, Hogan/TMac and Hibberd and Jetta intercepting play down back. It will be interesting to see who they go with though, the Pies have a deceptively tall forward line. I thought De Goey was a small forward but he's listed at 191cm! Stephenson, Cox, WHE none of them are really small.

If he doesn't get an AA Guernsey this year I'd love to see who is ahead of him just a masterful defender.

Just watching the replay (2nd quarter) and my god Hogan is a beast. Has exceeded my lofty expectations. He must be an AA lock, racking up midfielder stats and averaging 3 goals a game. He seems to be playing with a freedom he hasn't had before, always seemed like he had a load on his shoulders. Now he's the player we knew he would become and he's proving to be one of the stars of the comp. His next 5 years will be fun to watch. Jetta was superb today, love Lord Nev as the MFC podcast crowned him. My 5yo gave him a high five after the game too which made his day.

Plenty of examples of teams losing key players and going on to win the flag. Our coach played in a premiership after the star forward Modra went down.

I'm quite confident we will not lose TMac, Oscar seems certain to re-sign and Gus also seems a formality. Jetta will never ever leave the Demons pending some unforeseen family circumstances that may see him want to move west. Can't see it though, he will be a Demon for life. No inside knowledge on any of this just my opinion.

That's fantastic, should crack 45k or go very near now. That sets a great foundation to build off over the coming years should we get the onfield success we all hope for. If we can get up to 50k in the next year or two that puts us around the mark with Carlton, Geelong etc which is about right.
