There's not much modern music I get into, mainly hip hop - its starting to feel like rock (or metal/doom etc) really is dead 😞 I'll have to give a listen to those you've mentioned. I love Cruelty & the Beast, I could listen to that album on a loop - really like Midian as well though I've struggled to get into any of their other stuff. I think it's the concepts of those two albums that get me hooked. I'm not a huge black metal fan but when albums are as good as those two its hard not to love it. Been playing Nas - Illmatic all day today, its an old one but just never gave it a listen before. Been flicking between "The World Is Yours" and "The World Is Gore" with Necro/Ill Bill/Sabac on their Street Villains album where they rap over the same beat.

I love some classical music and Spotify has certainly helped with that because before that I knew I liked certain pieces but had no idea who the composer was or any way of identifying it! Spotify has also helped me get into some old blues as well, I knew I liked the style but didn't know where to begin with the artists.

Caught the end of "Sputnik" on triple R today, haven't heard this guy before will definitely be checking out some more. Name rang a bell after seeing your post 👍

Got some old school White Zombie playing now, Blur the Technicolour and Blood, Milk & Sky from Astro Creep: 2000 Just gave Chance the Rapper's album Acid Rap a go - was good but I think I like my rap with more energy. Exactly. Win the midfield, play the game in our half and set up defensively behind the ball. If we have trouble in the middle our defenders will be isolated and more likely to either lose a one on one contest (less likely) or get done on the ground (more likely). I'm confident we'll be too good and have a regulation 20-30 point win.
