It's a good reminder to have faith in the current Admin/FD. People were up in arms when we traded out Watts, people weren't happy when we lost Hogan but ended up with May. People (including myself) weren't happy when we picked up Grundy and Hunter but they're looking like inspired decisions. The current FD has earnt our faith and repayed it several times over. Wow if true then surely Smith is in concussion protocol and must miss a week? Their doctors are also negligent for not taking him off for 20 minutes for concussion test on Saturday.

He didn't knock him out though. Any act on a football field could potentially result in injury, it is a 360 degree full contact sport. If Kozzie knocked out Smith then I would agree 4-6 weeks - but he didn't which suggests he didn't actually get him in the head.

Who is that now that S Hocking and B Scott are not there? Have they replaced that role yet? Is it Gil??

There is definitely a case to appeal, a proper defence would tear that ti shreds. How can they determine potential for injury for starters? Should be appealing high impact down to low and settle for medium.

I don't think the Dogs are a fellow contender, a genuine middle of the road team with that defense. Crowd was 48k last night, for those there what do you think the split was? On tv the crowd looked good and seemed like we were far louder than they were. Our games often look bad on tv because our supporters are all in the northern stand but the southern stand seemed pretty packed last night on level 1 and 2.
Pickett's was worse than Buddy's, Pickett left the ground and hit Smith after he had disposed of the ball. Buddy was following the ball and ran through Collins on his way. Don't think Franklin gets a suspension.
I think that was just captured at the right (wrong?) moment - seems it was just part of the push and shove but the pic makes it look like he flushed him on the jaw.
Didn't see Franklin's but I can see Pickett getting anywhere from 2 to 6 weeks especially with the current climate of concussion legal actions against the AFL. If he gets off it would be a miracle. Smith playing on helps the cause but the AFL won't like seeing hits like that replayed through the week and will want to send a message that we are serious on potential head injuries.
Did it actually screenshot the ticket though? That message came up for me last year too but scanning in with the screenshot worked a treat. It helped a lot because I usually by between 6-10 tickets for my family and take screenshots which I send them through messenger so they can get in and never had an issue. Just make sure the brightness is up on your screen when scanning in otherwise it may not pick it up.
Spewing I can't go but my son wanted to have his birthday party at home instead of going to the footy so home it is. It also means there's another 6 or 7 of my family who won't be going either. I also have a christening on the same afternoon as the Swans game in round 3 so because of all our interstate games the first one I'll get to go to is ANZAC Eve! Gonna make sure I get there for as many games for the rest of the year after that, it's going to be a good season I feel and I want to make sure I'm there to enjoy it.
