2020 starts now ?
I think a rebuild is actually necessary. Not so much the players but the whole football department.

My 3 word player analysis vs St Kilda
Re the off field issues... This may get removed and if so, so be it. Rumors there was a club who’ve got up to 15 players claiming mental health issues so they don’t get drug tested. The issue is that the remaining players are now getting tested all the time and has caused a rift in the group. Strangley, we have fallen completely off the map this year. Do I put 2 and 2 together???

GAMEDAY: Rd 05 vs St Kilda
We can’t even win the demon dash at 3/4 time. We can’t even win something that is rigged for the fans!! (And I know he won but he lost, I was there)

GAMEDAY: Rd 05 vs St Kilda
I have said for two years that Goodwin needs to go. He is the worst coach in the comp. we lose the exact same way every week and are actually getting worse at it as at least we used to be able to score but that is now gone.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BRAYDON PREUSS
Hearing that no structural damage. Just will see how he pulls up before next week.

GAMEDAY: Rd 04 vs Sydney
There is the chance he could do that, apart from kick the raking goal. He will run to 50, stop, look around and get caught holding the ball...

Crystal Ball 2019: Predictions for next season
I just took 500/1 at $100. Set to make $50k at years end when we don’t win a game. Some call me a pessimist, I call me a realist.

POSTGAME: Rd 03 vs Essendon
Can anyone tell me about this 666 thing. I thought you got a warning and then the second time a free was to be given. Why did they start twice with no one on the wing. It looked like they were warned the first time but the second time they just let it go? Did they only have 17 on the field?

Welcome Back to the Bottom of the Ladder
I know the club has turned me into a total pessimist but it already has a Carlton feel about it. Had a good year, thought they were good things and recruited for a flag and then had to rebuild.

What to do with Petracca?
This is where I worry with the club. I’ve noticed he brings the ball down from way too high also. Surely if we are seeing this, the coaches have to? Coming down from so high leaves too much margin for error. Is why he can kick a great ball but the next one misses by a mile.

Who will the Demons target next?
Who is the likely pick one this year that we can stuff up?

What to do with Petracca?
I think that time has already passed. Only club that picks up players with no heart, no fitness and horrible skills is the one putting him up for trade!

What to do with Petracca?
Give me McCartin any day. Even with how rain would have given him concussion today. Still has more heart than him

GAMEDAY: Rd 02 vs Geelong
we Need to start looking to next year now. Put players out for surgeries and start the pre season. It already feels like they have written this year off with the amount of excuses already trotted out this puss club

Farewell Jesse Hogan
Look at AFL daily on the herald sun website, quotes exactly that. CEO overruled their recruiting.

Post Match Discussion - Preliminary Final
Probably like a lot here, I could see something was off in about the first minute or so. The previous WCE game we were playing on at almost all costs from the start of the game, the first chance we had to do so we stopped and went back over the mark. Our game plan was seemingly different. I don't believe we actually changed the game plan but it was the players who got completely spooked. It was something I expected to happen more in the first final than the third but it happened. Whilst I believe we are stronger mentally than we were at the start of the year, we still aren't strong enough. We need some more outside run but what I think we need more of is a better connection with the forward line. For the number of inside 50s we had this year we should have scored a hell of a lot more and this would have resulted in more wins in itself. Either working on the disconnect with the forward line or getting players who make the correct decision going forward should be our priority (we need both though). Overall though, I am a pessimist with us and us expected nothing from us this year so to win two finals was good and have my kids finally get to experience a final was good. We could be anything next year but having been beaten down by the club over the years there is part of me that says the players will be too mentally scared and will go backwards next year. We shall see but I hope to be wrong.

GAMEDAY - Preliminary Final vs Eagles
True. This is the type of loss that could scar us for the next few years. I actually thought we would be close to unbeatable next year, I worry about us making the top 10 now.

GAMEDAY - Preliminary Final vs Eagles
I don’t know why people are having a go at the umpires. I’ve never in my life seen a team [censored] themselves in every aspect of the game. You would actually think we were trying to throw the game it is that bad.

Alex Neal-Bullen
On the couch last night showed him as rated #6 in the AFL for the season for pressure acts and #2 over the last 6 weeks I think it was, whilst it would be nice if his finishing was a little better, with that stat, I can't see him dropped anytime soon.
