  1. Good points, godees. Set up your midfield first and then if Green and the rest of the forwardline aren't potent enough, we can always look to trade or draft later down the track.
  2. I know I should trust, but Peake is a ordinary player at best.
  3. If this is indeed true (as I noticed it in the paper myself, as well), what the heck are we thinking?
  4. I'm not far from Nepean...do you have too? But don't worry, you'll be safe. I can't see us finishing below Richmond next season. Or any season for many years.
  5. At least, if it was Adelaide, we wouldn't hear about it over here.
  6. Yeah, that's the funny thing about St Kilda. Supremely arrogant supporter base, yet have achieved little success.
  7. We won't trade picks 1 or 2. He's simply 'keeping his options open'. The only reason we wouldn't go with Trengove, is if he doesn't interview well and we perhaps think he might not stay in Melbourne, over an extended period.
  8. Crows, Bulldogs, Brisbane and Saints for me. I'd rather the Bulldogs win the whole thing, if not, the Saints, as they lack the premierships and if they don't win it with this team, they'll never win it.
  9. Yeah, me too. I have the MFC/MCC (the $150/160 one) and every time we went to Etihad after the Essendon game, we were [censored] over. Because, we used my sisters membership to get into Etihad the first time for $11.50 and then Etihad changed it over the course of the season, so when we went back for the Roos game, it was up for $30 or $40. Bloody ridiculous. My sister has the 16 game one, so I'll go with that next year too.
  10. Well, you also describe Joel Bowden...so I don't think it's quite that easy. I am extremely excited about Strauss though. THat said, what I saw of him for Casey this year didn't make me that excited. It was actually seeing his video again from the U18s that got me back on his bandwagon.
  11. Yeah, it's exciting that, isn't it?
  12. We won't get more Saturday games unless people rock up on Sunday's first.
  13. Yeah, something like that was mentioned somewhere else on Demonland. Cameron is simply doing his job (something he's [censored] at, IMO) and sounding out all possible avenues. It was a few weeks ago I believe, before pick #1 was sewn up.
  14. They don't have an awful lot to be arrogant about, but it is good to hear.
  15. Nah, everything will be fine with Scully. It's just someone in the media or outside of it being a dick.
  16. Yeah, I can't remember the last time I missed a game at the 'G. Even Etihad.
  17. I'm superstitious, don't change it. Remember what happened when the last Wiz changed from 33 to 8? And Greg Blewett was my favourite player and is still my favourite player of all time. He had the most stylish cover drive I've ever witnessed and he pulled the ball better than Ponting. When he was on, he was brilliant to watch. He basically made me follow the Redbacks...that and I was born in Adelaide. Proud Victorian in the winter months and South Australian in the summer.
  18. As the topic title asks, how many did you attend and which games were they? Personally, this is my attendance list: * Round 1 versus North Melbourne (MCG) * Round 2 versus Collingwood (MCG) * Round 4 versus Richmond (MCG) * Round 5 versus Adelaide (MCG) * Round 6 versus Geelong (MCG) * Round 8 versus Western Bulldogs (MCG) * Round 9 versus Hawthorn (MCG) * Round 11 versus Collingwood (MCG) * Round 12 versus Essendon (ES) * Round 14 versus West Coast (MCG) * Round 15 versus Port Adelaide (MCG) * Round 17 versus Sydney (MO) * Round 18 versus Richmond (MCG) * Round 19 versus North Melbourne (ES) * Round 20 versus Fremantle (MCG) * Round 21 versus Carlton (ES) * Round 22 versus St Kilda (MCG) --------------------------------------------- This brings my attendance list too: 17 games. What about you?
  19. Shane Valenti has been told he will be delisted.
  20. Nah, he's too conservative. It was his style that lost us last year. If we'd played the way we did for the last 5 to 10 matches (score at all costs), for the entire season, instead of sitting back too much, then we would have won the title. Our back four is too injury prone as well, to basing relying on them to keep clean sheets and our forwards just return one or two goals. The best form of defence is attack. Attack, attack, attack. If we do so, we'll beat anyone in the world. We've proved that over the past few seasons.
  21. Go the Reds. Although, I'll agree Lucas is a hack. He has absolutely no passing range, he's not strong on the ball and doesn't even possess a powerful strike. As soon as Aquilani is fit, he'll be benched.
