I feel like we've been here before. Melbourne list management team identify a handy acquisition and some Demonlanders [censored] the bed. We have a list management appreciation thread FFS. At what point do people trust the club? This is a smart piece of list management. If it doesn't eventuate then we look for other ways to add depth. If it does, we've got a hardened back up who can win the footy and keep competition for places strong.

I wondered whether we might sniff around there. Despite our elite midfield talent, we need more midfield depth.

How ordinary are the delisted senior players across the competition? I'm glad we won the flag and don't require a lot of pieces to go again. There's not a great deal on the market.

You can watch these games on Kayo any time you want. But I am still get lured into watching some of it.

Despite my mates [censored] on me for years about my football team, I'm taking the high road and not really talking footy. If they want to though, I'm happy to talk about it. Demonland is where I'm happy to talk all things MFC. I'll probably be lippy on game days next year though.

My son was born on the Monday before Round 1. Every game day he wore the MFC onesie. The day we played Adelaide he threw up on himself and we had to change him. The day we played Collingwood he [censored] on himself and we had to change him. The night we got beaten by the Bulldogs he threw up on himself. I can't explain the GWS loss. 😂

I'm one like Leppitsch and Beveridge that haven't rated rucks. I'm on record as calling it a junk position, but as others are saying, Jackson has reimagined what a ruck role looks like and has elevated it as a position to exploit. I keep hearing people say Jackson jumped over the top of English. That's not how I see it at all. He simply halved the contest, ensured the tap didn't go wide and dropped at his feet. From there he became a midfielder and that's his strength because most midfielders, let alone rucks, cannot compete with his athleticism. As for Dwayne, he'd be hating Melbourne's recent success. He won't know what to do with himself. Has been a long time hater.
