I think "the higher draft pick" only highlights the players name more... and they may even feel the pressure of expectation themselves, from the first time they cross the threshold of our home base. Weide was an early pick, so was Curnow. Watts in players minds, either makes or breaks them. The attitude begins the first time they come to the club. So if we make to nice, they may get too comfortable. Alternately if we behave too aloof, to them they may struggle without enough support. Dee Culture inside, and outside our club, creates what we get back. As long as the player strives for their best constantly. (see Jones... survived deespite the weak culture).

End of season bonus payments.
Maybe it depends upon a given club and whether the club is under or over the salary cap. ? It might be an adjustment to right any wrongs, within it's sCap.?

Recruiting a 3rd tall forward to find another 50 goals?
I have always believed in players being able to shift roles ever since 'Barass' came back to coach us. And he took Flower off the Wing, and used him in a multitude of roles... improving Robbies abilities. Similarly kicking as well on either foot. Both these thing are invaluable to aid the side... and upset the oppositions team balance and structures.

Recruiting a 3rd tall forward to find another 50 goals?
And this is what we want. All our Forwards and Mids working backsides off, and kicking goals. Shut one down, another pops up. https://www.google.com/url?sa=i&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=images&cd=&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=2ahUKEwjvrYvq0YzeAhXHR30KHavgByIQjRx6BAgBEAU&url=https%3A%2F%2Flookhere3.wordpress.com%2Ftag%2Fcat-gifs%2F&psig=AOvVaw3QXi-AtnkOgSeYoMnWesAq&ust=1539836942091667

Yes but Neale wants out, and has said so publicly... the deal will be done. I am sure. Even his mate from the Cats has already made arrangements to join the Lions. I think the Lions will end up uppin' their anbte` for Neale... watt goes around, comes back around.... Just like Halley's.

I think they will be off loading some more top young talents in (2019)... ones who started off the wrong way in a lousy club culture. The cleanup will take a little while, and more mature footy heads have been recruited. Dewy is doing things right, now... there won't be any quicky fix, up on the Gold Coast. They are rebuilding that footyclub... and the contesting. The next thing then, they will aim for, is to get to being a destination club,,, as we aimed for. For these reasons, I think they will recruit young guns this year... to start them off with discipline and doing the hard work.

If this is it... the best we can do from Freo, I would prefer us get P's-5, 23,,, & Freo's future 2019 2nd Rnd Pick. 2018 P's-5 & 23 2019 2nd Rnd Pick_

Belly's way of saying he's taking a shorts troll. a mini break, a bye moment. I think he'll be diligent again, very soon. Or Ross is not the Boss. .

Rumour File
Don't believe it... Beams trade to facilitate Neale trade??? ... to facilitate Hogan trade ??? I'm guessing_ This trade makes sense. Most likely the Lions chatted to Beams to see if he was interested in going to Pies to try for success... he's 29Yrs_ Lions clearly want Neale... and Neale's friend, who has already committed to go to Lions... to play with Neale. IF Fagan does not know of it... then the club has kept him at arms length, to protect his integrity.

No Massive Goalsquare in 2019
Maybe it was an ambit throw away claim. Somehow showing the AFL listen. Weird in the 1st place. Out of step in my view. And now a backward somersault, with Pike... geniuses.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
I've just been over to Freo's site on a footy forum, doin' some recon'.... and I've had another thought, since being O' there. ... seems they are moving some players on... and the thought cropped up.. are they clearing some salary cap space ??? Just guessing, as things just don't feel to add up. If so, for whom ? It aint over, 'til the fat lady has sung.
