  1. So true... this is where we arrived at... that the a person's word wasn't good enough, with the law involved... and now written contracts aren't even worth the price of used toilet tissues. When will the world start to spin back,,, wards_ or has it started, already ??? .
  2. OK, lets get 2 it. That could be the word Freo feed out to the chooks... to try to make us blink. But we need a power defender, and Hoges can play back. On the other hand, they may be trying in concert with our people, to make the Lions cough... over the Neale deal. The point is, its 2 x top 10 picks... or its 'No Deal' X .
  3. If all we said was that which we know, there wouldn't be a forum... it would be something like 6 pages, once every 3 months. People are saying what they think. That's simply, communication. It makes the world go about. The footy world, anywayz.
  4. Can we get to 400+, by the time trading is done for 2018 ?
  5. Yeah... I think this is a win/win. hopefully. We help find Ty another home and contract... & we get something back, to help us as well. I also hope Big Peurssy goes in hard, for the RednBlue, in 2019.
  6. Lets rate Josh MaHoney... after he gets Sam Weideman's contract extension... and not before this time. .
  7. cheers josh. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - But we might as well keep Jesse, I think. As he's not valued over if cockburn. Jesse to halfback. Belly & Lyon, a pair of half-twits = a Full Twit. ... good luck Freo you'll need it.
  8. We have TMc, Weide, & Hogan... & have lost nothing, so far this year. We payed Royally in Levers Case last year, with Lever only a couple of years in the system... and following an ACL reconstruction__ Our remaining 2019 picks are still intact. We got a player we wanted... but we sent out the message to the competition, aloud & clear...we can be bent over a barrel, without much of a struggle. In Hogan's case, a power forward who tallies up goals, and can go into the Midfield as well... 1.5 first Rnd picks, is too Low. Our message last year, was perceived by sleasy Freo, and by Bell, as soft... and so Bell, you could say, responds this way >>> ... come spend a little, on me, (Freo)_
  9. Remember, the Suns need mature players, more than U-18's... this year. I expect them to trade out some early picks yet, to bring these players in... and also the live pick trading during the National Draft, will IMO also see some future picks traded in, via trade. I think the Suns will end up with more mature players, yet. this coming few days. The mostly youth plan has failed them, miserably.
  10. Oh, I hadn't seen that, So it must be true then, if SEN has it up as Godspell. Never ever doubt SEN... or they'l come and hide-out in your Wheelie-Bin out front... and haunt your house for you, whilst you sleep.! .
  11. Winner.. Never pay too high... leaves you short, when you need it most.
  12. I highly doubt we would take Picks 5 & 23 for Hoges... if any semblance of truth, I think something else attached... like Ed Langdon, or other player... Plus we have to add on another later pick for Freo, to balance out some sort of deal.
  13. No, they were genuine... I was there F-5_ Space suit, 'n' all. .......................... You sound as if your a "concrete thinker.".. with appropriate boots that match. .
  14. you miss understood my post I think. I don't want Weide to go. But the Pies will be heavily invested in getting Weide from us. Offering him all and sundry to leave us. The pies can upset our salary cap space; with blocking the Hogan deal... and us wanting May, (we May not get him) then hurts us with cap space... beyond this year. ... hence Weides contract extension, next year.
  15. ""bathwater"..., getting ahead of ourselves already, before Pre-Season has even started. We are now right back in the bunch... with all clubs. Lets not sabotage our own 2019... even before pre-season, with expectations it will all fall in our Laps in 2019.
  16. not so cryptic. I thought fairly bland. "There's a magpie in the Woodpile". It should not be in there, causing us mischief. The Pies wanted May, til they dropped out and had to resign Moore... around that same time, just before More's re-signing... it became fairly common knowledge that May wanted to come to us. We were into Ed Langdon, but Freo started to send suitors away... enter Tom Langdon into trade conversations... and Freo became interested, according to rumours.. Eddie would like nothing moore than to swipe deWeide from us. Weide's contract ends next year... and we have not yet re-signed him, as far as I'm aware. Eddie will not have give up this year on May. Or on Weideman. .
  17. They've change tack. midstream. I smell a Magpie in this Woodpile.
  18. Or We trade something to CGSuns. this is not dunn with, Yet.
  19. Lets NOT be negative, Deefeatist.... get creative.!
  20. Aren't they orchestrating all this... since they had to sign tiler Moore back on. They're trying to make JTaylor look like Derek Hine's biatch.
  21. I see, I was reading this > Friday, 16 November 2pm: NAB AFL Trade Period closes (for exchange of selections only).
  22. Nope, lets let him play there at Cockburn in 2019,,, and we can give Neale a crack, next year. Wednesday... I thought it was nix Friday, at 2.00pm.
  23. Or possibly Lions need an Johnathon Browne understudy. Could we work the Beams deal to Collingwood into this charade ?
  24. 2018 is not over Yet.. Also is E'd the stik figure in the Wood-Pile. He wood be wanting deWeide, out of US. I reckon Tom Langdon will be seen at Freo, very soon. The time is now, to get Weides contract extension happening. ! .
