Changes v West Coat - Round 22
I remember his game well that day vs the crows, thinking to myself, gee we have a player here. What a disappointment it has been for young Jay since then. Don't know why he hasn't progressed at all.

Changes v West Coat - Round 22
Bring in Bugg to improve our goal kicking accuracy. Seriously though Out: Spargo, Hunt, Pedersen, JKH In: Kent, Melksham, Hibberd, Hannan ?

Run home to Finals - 2018
Lets face it, we've been the ultimate flat track bully side of the comp this year. I'm not reading too much into how much we've scored because most of that has been in the smashing of teams below us. I'm severely concerned that we have fallen at every hurdle against harder teams (maybe excepting the Adelaide away win). I'm extremely worried that we go 0-3 in the last three rounds and miss finals. This week is the ultimate put up or shut up game for the Dees.

Red Card Rule
My thoughts almost exactly. My only tweak would be that an AFL appointed (ie. objective) doctor makes the ruling on whether the affected player is fit to resume the field of play. Only concern I suppose would be the potential for gaming this system if say one of your stars (eg Dusty Martin) commits a borderline offence against a lesser player that could probably play on under normal circumstances, but under the new ruling could take himself off for a dodgy concussion test, thus consigning the star offender to the sin bin. I still think the AFL should look at it. Would any of you had any qualms about Bugg being sin binned/ red carded for his hit last year? I know I wouldn't have.

Red Card Rule
I'm in favour of issuing a send off if an opponent is rendered incapable of resuming as a direct result of a cardable offence. Seems only fair.

Changes vs Adelaide
I'd bring back Kent for JKH. Other than that, no change unless Harmes isn't right, in which case maybe Bugg. Heaven help us if that's the case. I give us no chance of winning this game or the Eagles game or GWS, which will see us miss the 8. Could conceivably lose all remaining fixtures, with GCS now showing something.

Jordan Lewis is absolutely cooked, never pick him again
Agree mostly with the op, except you take him out and nobody besides Jetta in the back half has any composure in traffic. I think we better not play both him and Vince again in the same side. We are this year's Port, can't beat anyone in the top 8. Our lack of fight from the opening bounce was so incredibly disappointing. We're nowhere near ready for a serious crack at finals. Embarrassed to be a demon fan today, and to think I took day of annual leave so i could start home and watch that pitiful performance. Won't be doing that ever again.

Demons on Masterchef (16/5/18)
Just watched it on catch up and thought it was great exposure for the club. Especially liked the copious references to our team as being elite athletes at the top of their game. Well done to all involved.

Time to show Oscar some respect!
Thought he was best on for us at least in the first half, kept Roughy very quiet. Would have to be the most improved player this season by the length of the straight.

List Analysis Potential v Reality
Well if Richmond can go from a model of inconsistency to premiers in the space of a year or two, why can't we? I have hope that we will see what can happen when a squad of players are all playing their role. Who's going to be our match winner superstar (Dusty) though?

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
Sounds like the dog could have been handy in the Chris Dawes household.

Our Failure to Crush Teams
Get rid of the turnover merchants, they're the ones that are killing us. When we turn it over, everyone is out of position and then its a game of draw and give to the opposition all the way to the goal line more often than not.

Delistings/trades at end of the season
I want Watts, Garland, Howe, Lumumba, Bail, Grimes, McKenzie, Terlich and Toumpas gone.

Delistings/trades at end of the season
This is probably going to sound a bit reactionary, but IMHO the following players are just making up the numbers on our list and should probably be traded or de-listed at the end of their current contract (if not before). I can't see any light at the end of the tunnel, what looked like light at Geelong a few weeks ago turned out to be just a glimmer of more hell-fire in the pit of despair that we have found ourselves lost in. 1) Bail 2) Cross 3) Dawes 4) Dunn 5) Garland 6) Grimes 7) Howe 8) Jamar 9) Matt Jones 10) McKenzie 11) Michie 12) Newton 13) Riley 14) Spencer 15) Terlich 16) Toumpas 17) Tyson 18) Watts 19) Fitzpatrick 20) Lumumba

Delistings/trades at end of the season
hypothetical: would you trade Hogan and our first pick for Fyfe?

Aaron vandenBerg
vanders should start as the third tall in the forward line who goes into the midfield for 5 mins every now and again. He has the size to stand a KPD, his versatility is probably the reason Pedo is gonna be on the outer this year or so it seems. This will free up Watts to play more of a link role and we need his precise footskills coming into F50 badly. Hoping for a massive debut from the rookie.
