PREGAME: Rd 16 vs Brisbane
If we want Tomlinson to leave at the end of the year then we drop him for Brisbane. Whilst that may please some here in the short term, next year when we are short of key defenders and Tommo is playing good footy at a premiership contender I don't want to hear any whining that 'we let Tommo go for nothing' He's done everything we have asked of him and deserves to keep his spot to tackle Hipwood. May to Daniher, McVee to Cameron Lever floating hell I'd even play Tommo in the fwd line

Steven May staging fine
Exactly! This happens 100x every week. Why is this the one to be picked out? Because some peanut on Fox pointed it out What's more it will be ignored for the next 10 years unless its Melbourne

They're not delusional when the AFL selectively applies their click bait outrage machine. Seems like it has worked in your case

POSTGAME: Rd 15 vs North Melbourne
Another week of Fritsch with less than 2 possessions to half time. He's a liability they way he's playing. Zero pressure and absolutely lame attempts at tackling ALtho Petty had a better week we have been playing 3 men down with Petty Fritsch and Oliver for the past 5 or so weeks. No wonder we have been struggling .

Harrison Petty
Acttually if he tags Andrews out of the game that would be a win for us

Steven May staging fine
Of course it had to be melbourne. Perennial whipping team when it comes to new interpretations of rules. How many. staging fines have been handed down in het past 10 years? Complete BS. Like the 70m penalty against Oliver

Harrison Petty
Let's see if Stubborn Simon fries Petty's brain completely or gives him a chance to find form down back Another bad game will likely scar Petty for life

NON-MFC: Round 15
Just turned it on to see Cripps throw the ball right in front of the Umpire..... play on Disgusting. Think I'll watch better homes and garden

Gerard Whateley on Petracca incident
Whateley's just another garden variety doorknob that is paid to pontificate 7 days a week about footy. He's another clickbait outrage machine - but never against the AFL or umpires mind you. That would put in jeopardy his handsome pay check. Who gives a fat rat's clacker what he thinks?

Trade Targets
Re JSmith, appreciate we can't discuss the case but two questions I think are reasonable (and hopefully not in breach of the current editorial policy...) 1. Anyone shed any light as to why there is radio silence from all involved or where its at? Every other similar case has been headline material for months. 2. What is the situation re our salary cap etc. Can we delist at year's end?

Trade Targets
Haven't they got the two Davey boys?

PREGAME: Rd 15 vs North Melbourne
Because that's not how we roll. We'll continue to ignore him until such time as we may need a backup ruck and then we'll select Shache, but not play him. After that we will trade Fullerton to the next up and coming Premier that is desperate for a ruck and we'll give them a leg up and take of 4th round pick

Just beat North and get back on track
I don't think so Goody will probably roll out the same team the following week.

The midfield numbers behind staggering drop-off
Our DNA is contest and defence We have lost contest by a wide margin this year. Some here talk about post-clearance possession and slingshot off the backline but the reality is we have been poor in the midfield all year. Winning clearance and/or helping our defence springboard forward. Oliver is down, Viney appears to be playing injured, Petracca has been needed forward to prop up the Petty experiment. Pickett shows some excitement when he goes in there but doesn't impact enough. Rivers hasn't been allowed in there. Salem's form has been very patchy. One big failure it would seem is how poorly the 'second tier' or 'up and coming' midfield has been playing. Sparrow is a big one. I am a fan but his output has been terrible. We seem to be using him in shut down roles but maybe we are robbing ourselves. Laurie hasn't come on as we would have expected. And then there is Bowey who has been inured for a large part of the year, Spargo who hasn't played since rd 1, Howes who is being asked to do a lot, McVee who has lost a lot of his drive... I got to thinking which players have improved this year. TMac, JvR, ANB, Maybe Max Those that have gone backwards Petty, Viney, May, Langdon, McVee, Fritsch, Oliver, Salem, Chandler, Sparrow, Spargo, Hunter This is our problem in a nutshell The same or thereabouts Turner, Rivers, Lever, Bowey, Pickett, Petracca Not one of young players (that have played at least 1 season) have improved this year. That bodes poorly for the future
