Look likely not to win another game for the year. Have lost 10 in a row and 12 from 13. 10 in a row is worse the Melbourne believe it or not. Chances are they will lose the next 7 and be 17 in a row which for a non-expansion team is rare. I think the Swans in 1993 might have lost 23 in a row. Some are starting to suggest they deserve a PPick. Given we did not receive one last year it has to be inconceivable they would get one. The PP has to be dead and buried surely??

Bombers scandal: charged, <redacted> and <infracted>

So I assume Dank has been racking up fines of $5k per day for not respponding to his show cause notice? Must be at least 3 months now... Anyone shed any light on this? -

Believe me, they can all be blinded by their own reflection. Remember Kerry Stokes spent $200m+ on litigation because he thought he was wronged in the AFL broadcasting deal. Wealth has nothing to do with being right. -

Ok The Hsun on a bye weekend with nothing to write about. That explains it. Nowhere like D'Land to take something like this and run a million kms with it! -
Had nothing to do with the incident where Todd Viney had him by the throat up against a wall......

Bombers scandal: charged, <redacted> and <infracted>

Where does this idea of Bomba Thompson coming to Melbourne come from?? Its the dumbest thing I have ever heard. 1. he doesn't want to coach. 2. We don't want anyone from that stinking pile of a club in the last 3 years ever near our club 3. He ain;t that good. 4. His personal reputation is very sullied - ask those at Geelong -

I am staggered that this explanation is not more widely accepted. I agree with it wholeheartedly. Its so frigging obvious. I believe AD that he was not told by the ACC. But he is not stupid and the footy world was awash with speculation about the bummers. They had been told as much by many industry insiders. Their 'black ops' were designed to be on the cutting edge. Maybe they didn't mean to go over the edge but it seems clear they have. The who secretive nature of it and full book of dodgy characters. These cheating scumbags will stop at nothing to besmirch everyone and everything. They have chosen to go down in flames and in flames they will go. A greater example of self-immolation you will not see. I for one will enjoy it because they are my most hated club. But I fear what it will do for the rest of the comp. ps One thing that intrigues me is that the charges against Dank include his time at the Suns. Noone has really stated what information they have collected from the Suns but that could well be explosive too. -
Anyone like to place a wager on Sylvia having a blinder (and I don't mean at a Darwin nightspot) Seems like it always happens to us when one of our ex-players plays against us.........

That could end up being more than his first contract!

Its a fair bet to say it won't be equal to or more than the last one! But what does he care. He's alsready made mroe than most players in history. He's like a graduate that got accepted to work at Goldman Sachs. Two years later he gets poached in a ridiculous salary. Whats he going to do? he's gonna leave. And who would blame him. And I suggest over 95% of people here would do the same.

Have a look at Dimwits comments - "I didn't inform them becuase I wasn't told by ASADA/ACC" - most likely absolutely true. He would however be stupid not to have known there were questions about the bombers and put two and two together when the Attorney general rings up and says " get to Canberra tomrrow because there is a ground breaking announcement." A big difference to the story the bummers are trying to portray. Its a red herring. -
Reiwoldt is a good example but there is also a good case for him to leave that club at this point. What good is he going to do for the next two years? Arguably they could be better off trading him out and getting a young gun. He is going to struggle at that club. He is also a bit of a rarity or exception rather than the rule. Look around your workplace and tell me how many would stay if they were offered 30% more in their salary? Loyalty only goes so far. My point was players playing 10 years are relatively rare. In that 10 years the number of contracts they get where they can take a huge leap in dollars and set themselves up for life would be two maximum. They are lucky for it to be one. Supporters go the loyalty card because they follow the club through hell and high water. Players don't mostly. Mostly players get turfed by clubs. Older players aren't stupid. They see younger plaers come and go. They see clubs turf out Beemer, Junior, Jeff White, Yze, Robbo etc etc When they get a chance to lock in a life changing deal they would frankly be mad not to do it in most cases. So you can sit there and say loyalty matters. Tell that to Junior. It doesn't wash with me and it is the new reality in football.

So what? They were doing their job. Gerard healy is on the record as saying he contacted the AFL after hearing rumours about the peptide program at the Bummers and the number of tell-tale soft tissue injuries. A lot on the footy industry knew about Dank and the Weapon. Why do the idiot bummers and HSun think this is great news? They are truly pathetic -
The players rarely think about the club like supporters. Its a job They get hurt. They work hard. They put with a bunch of crap from supporters when things aren't going well. And they have a very short time in the game. The notion of loyalty is in supporters minds for the most part. It doesn't wash with most players. PLayers are LUCKY to have one contract period where they can set themselves up for life. Most don't get that opportunity. The stars have aligned for Frawley and good luck to him. He's prime age and an AA defender albeit he has IMO checked out already. If he can get $800k I wish him well. We'll be looked after and the world will move on. Its says nothing but the system is working how its supposed to.

I'll give you a hint. Its probably one of the 40 players on their list in 2012. Every one of them is under suspicion so what does it matter? All naming them will do is clear 6 of them from the stench that is the Essendon FC. If I was one of those 6 I would be out there shouting it from the rooftops. "IT WASN"T ME THAT TOOK THE FILTHY CHEATING DRUGS........... " -
The floggings will continue until morale improves...

Get used to it. This is what FA is all about. Rivers, Sylvia and Beemer didn't hurt us. In fact we are better off. So if he goes he goes. So long as we get decent compo - as we did with $cully - then Roos will trade for a good replacement. And if we are being honest there are good replacements for Frawley who has not played anywhere near his AA year.
-
Makes me angry as well. Its pathetic they get critical decisions wrong.

News Corp have spent GBP270m defending the phone hacking charges. Essendon won't be far behind by the time they are finished. They'll be wiped out, -
