  1. We love Jack in our family. We hope like hell he gets back to playing good footy. He deserves it.
  2. ANyone else notice Jesse wasn't smiling in the team photo? OMG......panic stations.... (and Watts was smiling his head off....)
  3. He has also said that ASADA have the records but must have destroyed them. He is a charlatan of the highest order.
  4. Not quite true....You can if you work for the Health Services Union or the Fair Work Commission... Or if you are about to be called by a Royal Commission...hmmm let me think if there are others. Oh yeah, I don't like the footy club contract I signed a year ago.....
  5. http://www.kia.com.au/about-kia/contact-kia Suggest we all let the company know about this. And tweet with a hastag #kiabacksdrugcheats
  6. Our players running and spreading will be a big win for us. They have never done that in the past with any regularity. Short fast chip kicks are likely to hit a target but they rely on instinctive quick kicks, not the crap we have seen over the years of mark, run 20m behind the mark, wait for the opposition to man everyone up and then bomb it long to the boundary. A team under the pump and with no confidence in their team mates or game plan plays this way. Short kicks rely on taking the first opton and lots of running. It also only works if you have committed team mates running to space. The Hawks do it. So do West Coast. There is a confidence in leaving your man to run to space, repeatedly sometimes. Without always being rewarded with a stat. This is selfless, team based football and something we have not had for a long time. That is where on field leadership comes in. When the system breaks down (ie we miss a target and cause a t/over) you need leaders to stand up and force their team mates to continue doing the right thing and running and spreading. If I see this I will be happy that know we are on the right track.
  7. I wish someone would do that for me......
  8. Sounds like we will have two pretty handy players coming back in around September - Melksham and Trenners....
  9. If you didn't take a photo I don't believe you...
  10. Previously younger players or players coming back from injury might have been the sub. I could see the possibility of senior players now staying on the ground longer and younger players or players coming back from injury rotating more. The resting ruckman in the forward pocket might make a comeback as well....
  11. Why wait, we can give it to you now!
  12. Its a Gen y thing. Everyone can lead, everyone gets a participation ribbon....
  13. Didn't Mitch Clark love it at Melbourne? I'm sure he said that many times....Just sayin....
  14. and he signed a contract extension.....
  15. And before other clubs get a look in.
  16. Ha ha wait until the reconstructed self serving spreadsheet appears in court. 'Here is what I gave the players'. See here, panadol and thymomodulin. I don't know waht al the fuss is about.
  17. I believe you can make as many changes as you like at each of the quarter breaks. So it s not really 90 rotations. Still it will be interesting to watch who has modelled the changes and adapted accordingly. Someone always jumps the gun and gets an edge on the comp. Wouldn't it be nice if it was us!
  18. Freo already offer their first round draft picks for the next two years. What more could they have done?
  19. Problem with that stance is, who else will trade for him? A Melbourne club would be mad to that for instance.....
  20. ha ha generation sook!
  21. Was desperate to go back to WA last year and GWS refused to engage in a discussion. Now he has taken indefinite leave of absence. Don't know the detail but it must be hard enough for recruiters without having to deal with this kind of thing. Some Gen Z's or whatever they are can't handle the pressure of AFL. My guess is that we will see an increasing number of them go down this path and clubs be 'forced' into trading them or risk losing them....

  23. What are party drugs? They are all drugs. And mostly illegal. Ben Cousins was supposedly on 'party drugs' as you put it and he would have run through a brick wall. You can't tell me they are not performance enhancing.
  24. Carlton's ruckman of the century, John Nicholls, was only 189cm or 6'2" .....
  25. I'm sure if you applied the 'schoolyard' test and lined them up against a wall Selwood would be picked before Jones......
