Training Ground?
Yeah, it's actually pretty damning given that stakeholder engagement and management is one of her spruiked 'skills'.

Training Ground?
Roffey is largely removed from the project, as it stands.

Or, you know, you could use that burgeoning big boy intellect of yours and as I said, read what I've previously written and infer some meaning. But hey, herrrrr derrrrrr media vendetta, MFC perennial victims et al.

Training Ground?
Sounds like there might be some movement on this soon. MFC to contribute a further $20m - $25m towards the development of a training facility at Caulfield.

I've posted a few times on this, you should be able piece it together. I'm not really concerned about whether people take it on or not, at the end of the day the vomit and laugh react crew are going to vomit and laugh react. It doesn't change what the situation is.

Christian Petracca
Actually, yes - I can. But feel free to stick to the standard post-truth world optics that so many of the fanboys on here adhere to, unless of course, it relates to a positive news story.

That's beyond head in the sand sort of stuff.- Christian Petracca
To be fair, I don't necessarily think that anyone is advocating Roffey should be involved with list management discussions. But it is absolutely reasonable that she should be capable of commenting on the state of affairs of the club she presides over. It's not binary, she doesn't have to comment on list management matters or not comment at all. Given the season we've had, or seasons if you want to extend this back to last year, it's an entirely reasonable expectation.- Tom Lynch
As I said, people tend to look at the results of those seasons without looking at the substance of the games. You can project all the positivity you wish, I don't buy into it and ultimately the finals results tell the story.- Tom Lynch
There's far too much emphasis by some solely on the ladder position over form since '21 without looking at the substance of those wins. We were far from convincing in 22 and 23, and the writing was largely on the wall for most of this year. Being 2.5 wins off the bottom four doesn't bode well at all, despite the apparent closeness of the season.- Your Preferred Premier 2024
GWS or the Dogs. Realistically, anyone apart from the Blues or Sydney.- Tom Lynch
I don't think that would exactly strike fear into opposition sides the way you intended via your post.- Christian Petracca
A lot of the grievances aren't coming from his manager, but from those very close to him. You'd think if he asks for a trade it will be at the exit interviews today.- Tom Lynch

“Goodwin is a genius”.- Luke Parker open to move
Parker is vastly superior to the likes of Hunter, McAdam and Billings. He's one of the few aging players I'd be interested in. Personally, I also think he's in that rare ilk of players who can, to steal a corporate catch cry, drive culture and develop those around him. I would take Parker in a second. He'd also definitely improve our forward / midfield mix immensely, at least in the short-term.- Oliver Trade Rumours
I tend to largely agree with this. IF / IF the MFC even entertained a trade for Oliver, it may be due to the view that Oliver will not get back to his best, therefore the contract term coupled with the value of the contract therefore becomes a net-loss (from an output v input perspective). Therefore, whilst the MFC would arguably seek to maximise any form of trade from a collateral and trade perspective, I think it would get to a point where is true worth based on historical output would be slightly undervalued, as we would see the benefit being the contract off the books. Of course, there are multiple variables to this - the amount of contribution to contract, is he entirely off the books, etc. Regardless of the hypothetical outcome, I would think that the MFC is compensated in a manner commensurate with the salary contribution. FWIW - I don't anticipate that Oliver will be anywhere else other than the MFC. This isn't suggesting he'll be traded.- Dan Houston
Port could be plausibly be contending in this year's Grand Final. No chance that take has credence.- RIP Sam Landsberger
A very, very sad day for all of the footballing community. It’s always tough when someone passes in such tragic circumstances, but for someone so young with an apparent wide network of friends and acquaintances, coupled with his great career, it just adds another dimension to it. A tragic day for all involved and really adds perspective to issues often spoken and debated about in this board. Vale Sam Landsberger.- Christian Petracca
Played the victim.- Christian Petracca
I’m not defending anyone, as I said, Christian is a big boy and there is a substantial amount of work that is required to be undertaken by him (and the club), if he is to stay. But it’s also not a binary situation. I think there are serious problems within the club and whilst that’s not an excuse for behaviour, it’s a causative reason this has occurred.- Christian Petracca
There are certain influential elements around Christian that have been very, very publicly loud airing their grievances. It’s not an ideal situation and has exacerbated some grievances - some potentially real and some likely perceived. In saying that, Christian is a big boy. There’s work to do in both ends to turn this around.- Christian Petracca
