  1. Listening to SEN after the game was night was pretty hilarious. One caller went on to say that Nakervis is the best ruckman of the past ten years due to his three premierships and Gawn would always know that despite what people say.
  2. 33.1km/h, second highest on the ground, jointly with Trainor, for an individual effort. Pretty impressive though, Rioli was clocked as the fastest at a speed of 33.5km/h.
  3. I know I’m in the minority here, but I think Sharp is just the new whipping boy for many on this forum. His game against Geelong was disappointing, but outside of that I think he’s done what you’d expect of him. Tholstrup is a fair way off it, IMO. A full game last week for 6 disposals and 0.0 isn’t fantastic, acknowledging it was his first game back. His 4 disposals and 1.0 tonight, doesn’t really scream as being a retainable performance. We seem to have people calling for Sharp’s axing pretty regularly, when his output is arguably equal to, if not surpassing that of Tholstrup. Tholstrup may offer us something down the track (personally, I’m yet to be convinced of this), but I think he should be trying to find some form at Casey at the moment.
  4. Out: Tholstrup, Fullerton In: Melksham (if fit), AJ If Melksham isn’t available, Tholstrup gets another week. *Obviously JVR ended the game with 5.2, but AJ’s five tackles along with his 3.5. I wouldn’t be totally opposed to the JVR selection, but I’m a big fan of the physicality that AJ has brought since going back to the VFL.
  5. Tholstrup - Pick not justified Windsor - Disposals increasingly concerning MFC - One good quarter
  6. Please, that's the Demonland SOP.
  7. Whilst at the time I thought Pickett was unlucky to get the three, noting the outcome, calling Nash’s action a ‘brutal assault’ deserving of ‘10 - 12’ is hilarious and frankly pretty embarrassing.
  8. I haven’t gone through all three pages of this, but I agree some of our moves post 2021 have been puzzling, at least from the outside with reference to apparent nil-interest in certain players. Mabior Chol is an obvious one and I’m not suggesting that from a position of hindsight. Like many I thought at the time he could be a legitimate pick up for us. You could also put Levi Casboult into that category at the end of 2021, and Tim Membrey / Sam Day or Jack Darling fat more recently. Matt Owies would’ve been a great fit for us noting our already known inability to score and absolute lack of depth as it stands with small - medium forwards who can actually perform. I know there will absolutely be more examples here I’m missing, these are just some immediate ones that came to mind noting where we’ve struggled recently. Personally, the Billings trade was a gamble and I’m not as annoyed with that trade as some, but then again the move of trading a second-rounder for McAdam was a puzzling amount to pay at the time given his known constant injury plagued career.
  9. 2022*
  10. Questions needed to be asked after 2022 and he should’ve been gone after the 2023. While I’d love for him to be moved on, our club doesn’t have the gumption to make that sort of call.
  11. Play uninspiring football, get an uninspiring fixture.
  12. We’re crying out for small forwards as it is and have sufficient depth off the HBF. Although the injury to AMW is less than ideal, I wouldn’t be taking Chandler from the forward line when we’ll already be missing Pickett and ANB (although we may find Sharp is able to assist - but I’ll need more exposed form than his game against Norf, as impressive as it was).
  13. Moniz-Wakefield to miss 2025 season
  14. Outside of the potentially deviating result to AMW, I actually thought this was a pretty impressive result given our omissions against an almost full strength North. Sharp was really impressive and I thought AJ did a lot right when he was on. Campbell is a great addition as a ready to go depth player, and St Francis and Langford could be two of our most important additions since we brought in Petracca and Gus together.
  15. Potentially horrible result for AMW. Absolute shame as he was looking in ripping form for R1. Fingers crossed it’s a more fortuitous result for the young man.
  16. That last goal was crazy! He’s looking in very, very good form.
  17. Howes gets his legs taken out with contact below the knees and it’s a free against. Wot?
  18. Burnt beans.
  19. Plus the compounding issue of Pickett missing the first three.
  20. I haven't ruled out anybody, and I haven't faulted any of the players. I've merely pointed out that with the exception of Petracca, expecting any of the other listed players to have the output that Pickett has (and I say this is a someone who is often critical of Pickett), is pretty fanciful. I mean, Langford hasn't even played a game for us and Spargo isn't in the same league as Pickett. No reason any of the players you've mentioned shouldn't be given an opportunity, but let's have some sense of reasonableness with our expectations.
  21. That's a very big call to make on a bunch of players that have played 6 games (AMW). 2 games (KB), and zero games (Langford), or have never won us a game via individual performance and likely won't even be playing (Spargo). The only one there I'd give credence to is Trac.
  22. Thanks, mate. Appreciated.
