Hopefully career over for Goodwin.

30-10 hitouts yet we're behind in clearances. Yes our mids our woefully out of form, but Max needs to learn how to give an effective hitout. Better off doing the old Jeff White thump it 30 meters forward instead of just dropping it at the feet of the opposition.

Amazing how this club can ruin my weekend and it not even be Friday yet

Yep, kudos to @Demonland for showing more innovation than Goody has his entire coaching career.

New Deal Looms for Fritsch
new deal for Fritsch? [censored] i hope not. The bloke is soft, a poor shot at goal, and well............soft. Him and half the bloody team.

Seriously, if the board does not make up for their embarrassingly incompetent mistake, then they should go as well. Stable board [censored], i want to see a competitive effort from players' who actually give a [censored] from a coach with half a [censored] clue.

Look on the bright side, if we keep this up, Goodwin surely must be gone by August.

Trade him for peanuts come years end.

GAMEDAY: Rd 09 vs Port Adelaide
you'll even get paid $300 to do it!

Goodwin. Simples.

GAMEDAY: Rd 09 vs Port Adelaide
hitouts 8-3, clearances 7-3. At least banging it on the foot hasn't gone out of vogue with us

GAMEDAY: Rd 09 vs Port Adelaide
will we score this quarter?
-
GAMEDAY: Rd 09 vs Port Adelaide
Ahh we are back playing the footy that Goody said that us supporters would recognise

So we plan on beating them by again struggling with our forward entries. Hopefully it pays off.

Angus Brayshaw
Agree there is no need to provide a running commentary, but if Gus's form continues in it's current fashion, something will need to be said sooner rather than later.

Don Scott Claims Hawks Cheated Salary Cap
Wait, isn’t today’s 3rd party player payments virtually the same thing? The big/favourite clubs of the AFL did it first, then to avoid liability, the AFL ticks off every other club being able to do it. Either way, HQ makes [censored] up on the fly. They have done so for a while, only it has exploded under Gil’s watch. AFL is no longer the fans game and hasn’t been for nearly 1-2 decades. The AFL is now played primarily to make money, not play football. The COVID crisis clearly indicates this. There would be no football games happening if this wasn’t the case.

Angus Brayshaw
If he was in Essenscum jumper they’d be demanding a top 10 pick. i reckon he’d be worth a late first/early second rounder, but I’d rather trade him for an already established player.
-
Weideman's Future?
He has played a mere 33 games. A ton of development left in him. If he is able to play the majority of the next 67 games like he did yesterday, we’ll have the player our forward line has needed since Neita left.

Harley Bennell fined for striking
AFL’s got to fill the purse strings some how dieter, what with COVID taking away all their earnings and all

Best passage for a long time.
Best passage I have seen was the 2002 EF against the Roos. Jolly tapped the centre bounce down to Johnson who took 3 bounces and goaled just outside 50. Rinse and repeat!

Two Metre Peter
There aren't a whole heap of players on our list that have much currency and could also be seen as expendable. The likes of Brayshaw, dare i say it TMAC and to a much lesser extent ANB are the only one's that could give us some value at the trade table. Would obviously need to throw in next years first rounder as well. But if there was even the slightest chance King became available (he did sign a long-term contract last year), all 10 Vic clubs and even the 7 other interstate clubs would be trying to bring him in to their system.
