  1. Does that mean for every cat that takes up a pet membership, it counts 9 times towards their tally?
  2. I’m of the belief that windows for a serious tilt at a premiership are only truly open for around 5 years (probably less). As such, I am more of the belief that shorter windows are realistically attainable. The Hawks flag in 2008 was extremely premature and an outlier, their 2012-2015 years was their true window. Look at the Cats who are trying to perennially contest a premiership (might keep fans happy, but that cliff is only getting steeper). Some have waited 57 years for a flag. They won’t be around in another 57. Go now and go hard.
  3. Truth be told, apart from September 25th, I’ve only seen the whole match again once (celebration day at the G in December). Every other time I’ve watched the 1st quarter, skipped the 2nd and most of the third, then start watching just before Bont puts them up by 19. We all know what comes after that 😍. It’s not healthy, as now I’m expecting us to kick 7+ goals every quarter, whilst limiting teams to just a couple of goals a half. God help me if we ever lose a game again.
  4. Not interested in bringing heaps more youth. Our window is wide open for multiple flags, we need to recruit for the now.
  5. Looking at that list, I seriously question those GWS numbers. Also, Carlton supporters are suckers aren’t they. So many must be pleased with mediocre results.
  6. Hope it wasn’t that imbecile Craig Tiley. The info he gave you would’ve been very incorrect. Just ask Novak 😜
  7. If he goes, he’ll cost a few bob for the other team. A valuable team-member for sure, but not irreplaceable. A side-effect of playing on the wing last year was that he built up his tank and has never been fitter. Would much rather he stay. But understandably, at the minute he has more important things to concentrate on.
  8. The talent is too thin, spread across 14 teams. Redrafting players will not fix the issue. AFLW expanded way too quickly.
  9. Did you sneak a peak? I’m betting it is magnificent 😝
  10. Surgery to release bleeding? Surely leeches would be effective 😉
  11. Seriously, why can’t our guernsey colours be like those of the fellas in these pics?
  12. Yep, goal kicking practice needs to be a priority for the rest of the season.
  13. We wouldn’t have Steven May running around for us if Jesse stayed. Our backline was critical in capturing our 13th flag and was the most consistent part of our team for the whole year. May was phenomenal in his role as our KPD big man, without him I doubt we would have become premiers. Will always have a soft spot for Jesse, but May is part of the 22 (along with Goody) that I will forever worship.
  14. Oh Goodie, that means we’ll be celebrating at least a third flag in the next few years
  15. I’d liken us to someone who has never really been good looking, then suddenly we became hot over the summer break
  16. I wonder what his conversation with FIGJAM entailed? I reckon it was because Maysie was blown away by Goody not mentioning himself every 30 seconds 😁
  17. Ordered mine this evening
  18. From where he has come from, if he is able to get back to enjoying life, then he is a success.
  19. 3 years is a good length contract, imo. If we continue to do well, just continually role it out further. Gives Goody security and reward, but not long enough to get complacent and rest on our laurels (especially not with our current list).
  20. Agreed. Unless a club is guaranteed access to NGA prospects, the whole NGA system needs to be funded entirely by the AFL, without clubs needing to contribute a cent.
  21. Love how the northern clubs complain about their disadvantages due to not being in AFL heartlands and should therefore be compensated. Maybe they shouldn’t have applied for licenses then. They knew the risks (GC & GWS), and Souths chose to relocate to Sydney. They should be accountable and deal with the consequences of their actions.
  22. And whoever the filth pick was a bargain and masterstroke
  23. Hopefully he has found what he thought he could not find in this life. Be at peace Harley. Thoughts and condolences go out to his no doubt devastated family.
