  1. Yep. Keeping Covid at bay is by no means an easy feat, but behind Tasmania, WA has a whole desert and ocean to keep it out. McGowan argues that Australia is not just NSW, yet the way he has handled the pandemic screams of keeping the rest of the country isolated away from the state as if he doesn’t want to be a part of it anyway. will be interesting to see what he does next, given he has a potential Grand Final on his hands. Stakes would be a lot different too if a WA team was in it or there was an election around the corner.
  2. That would be a horrendous result if it were to eventuate. Carpark F is clearly the better site as is the triangle space of land next to the freeway. I’d rather wait another 10 years for a proper facility than end up accepting a sub-standard site.
  3. And those teams right there show why a champion team will always beat a team of champions.
  4. So do I. They have the same level of arrogance and high opinions of themselves, it’s nauseating. Here’s hoping Ross ā€˜the list destroyer’ leaves Carlton in an even worse shape than they are now, with his ā€œreputationā€ forever tarnished.
  5. Well Joe isn’t exactly the strongest forward going around, so maybe.
  6. Nice weather up there at the moment.
  7. I see the Minor Premiership as at least something to take from this year. But like the rest of you no doubt, there is another piece of silverware I desire a hell of a lot more. Im nowhere near satiated............and I hope the boys aren’t either.
  8. So you’ve written us off against port then
  9. Is he injured? Serious question, because he is a shadow of the player he used to be
  10. Seems to be doing a number on us wiz
  11. Geelong flexed their muscle and we did nothing to rise to the challenge.
  12. Hopefully the playing group bring that mindset for the rest of the year
  13. Do we want to play Port in Adelaide, or the Lions in Adelaide?
  14. yep, we can effectively kiss goodbye any chance of having finals in Victoria goodbye. Dan was looking for any excuse to throw us into further chaos, and those imbeciles gave it to him on a platter. There has been mass failings on all levels - monumental federal [censored]-ups with vaccine rollout - state shuts down at the sound of a sneeze - d!ckhe@d citizens blatantly disregarding public safety measures. Sure it would be great to see finals live and if Victorians are allowed to travel to games (next to impossible), i'd travel anywhere in the country to attend a GF if we made it. However, at the end of the day, a premiership is a premiership, and i would gladly accept one no matter the way it came. Coming up to 57 years and counting.............
  15. A pity he chose the Weid ahead of Harry Mackay. Imagine having him in our forward line šŸ˜
  16. You’d need to offer extras in the deal to get Cerra, he still has scope for improvement, Angus on the other hand is a known commodity.
  17. What excites me most about Jake is his quick decision making. He knows what he’s going to do with it before he even gets the ball. A lot of our ball movement seems ā€˜rushed’, whereas with Jake it is ā€˜quick’.
  18. And if we subsequently win by 50+ points, it’d be pretty hard to break back into that line-up for finals
  19. They should just close the joint and move them to Tassie.
  20. Unless he is tagging, I’d have Harmes on the wing. Likes to run and plays better when he has space in front of him. Just need to get him to commit to non-stop running for potentially little reward.
  21. Or was it that we refused to get out of second gear?
  22. Nope, done his 2. Sparrow and Jordon both omitted, Smith to make way for May (played well so unfortunate but credit where it’s due). Melksham, Brayshaw put on notice.
  23. Fritsch looks so much better leading out of the square.
  24. Salem again pathetic with his disposal there.
