15 minute period has just ended our season. Yes we reload for finals, but with our current personal we cannot win a flag. Too much inexperience, and too much reliance on Oliver and Petracca. As soon as they’re not getting ball, our midfield disintegrates. Port will beat us in Adelaide next week. Who knows what happens from there. [censored] disappointing end to the season.

Just saw the clip of the Majak incident. What a beat up! Not even worth citing, let alone four weeks as Tom Browne suggested. It’s basically a careless arm around the shoulder. The media should be ashamed of themselves for trying to make it a story. Pathetic parasitic scum.

Midfield defending has been poor thus far. Clarry, Trac, Harmes and Langdon all jogging while their opposition runs off. Coaches need to find a way to fire them up consistently.

Bad luck for Hunt. Sent back to his natural position on halfback this year and he’s flourished again and played every game. He’s not the cleanest player, but he’s one of our most impactful when on. Shame he might miss playing finals after being a consistent part of the team that got there.

The kick inside 50 about 40 seconds into that clip is what got me excited. Been years since we’ve had a player like Trapper or Yze nailing low bullet passes to a target inside 50 amongst traffic. That was beautiful and something we lack; elite decision making and kicking skills. Very exciting!

Haven’t seen it, but not surprised it’s happened again. It will happen forever while social media exists in its current form. Social media is a curse on humanity. It gives a public voice to every [censored] out there, but more importantly it gives them a means to contact someone directly and publicly. it’s been more detrimental to society than anything since global wars decades ago. I feel sorry for players copping it. Weid had to get rid of his social media due to copping abuse from keyboard warriors. He also received death threats to his direct messages after having a few poor games. It must be horrible going to work knowing if you don’t have a good day you’re likely going to cop abuse and threats in the mail.

He’s so clean and is finding ball already. Had an amazing take at pace under pressure at one point. His kicking is delightful too. That pass inside 50 to setup Jackson’s mark and set shot was pure class - low, penetrating and perfect ball spin. Love the kid. Just needs to stay healthy and he’ll be a ripper for us.
