Simple. To the point. Contains everything that we need to know. As long as we have a dip, I won't be slitting my wrists if we lose to Swans. With the outs and short break, and the fact we haven't played well at the G. Swans are flying. For selection. Wags in and JKH for Salem Garlett are obvious. JKH has been getting his defensive forward grooming, so he's a natural pick. I just can't figure out the Watts one. I feel like it's possible we'll go in with Watts for Jeffy. Only because I can't see a name that can come out anywhere. Stretch maybe, Harmes maybe. Both would be brutal as they played will. Harmes particularly was around it a lot. ANB did a sterling job as a negator as well. Does the fact he had 10 less touches mean he comes out? Regardless, it's going to be another week where we have a player that HAS to play, but we have no room for.

Looking ahead ... the Path to September

I keep waiting to see some definite ease of schedule. Like being 12-8 and having Pies and Lions left to play. But doing the predictor... we're so far from having any answers. When I do it, in the weeks we have winnable games, the other 5th-11th games do as well. Then when we play against someone going for the same spot we want, it seems across the round 5th-11th are all playing each other as well. I did a predictor losing the ones against sides we're close to, winning the easy ones and losing the tough ones. And I had us playing Pies in round 23 for 6th... lose and we'd be 9th on 13 wins?!!! -
Not as bad as either Wingard or Rance ones. But gee. Didn't look good. Bigfooty has it right. One of those you can overlook. If he makes a habit... then gee whiz. Basically... it really didn't look good.

Tigers fans would be aggrieved if he got more than what Hogan got.

Well [censored].

Happened to us last night. lol Here come Cats. Hold fast Freo. You'll run them off their legs.

Yeah. Was gonna say. I watched on an empty stomach and thank goodness. I felt sick for two hours after the game. Didn't quite believe it happened. Still hasn't sunk in really. Heard Ox pregame on the Freo Cats game saying when TMac kicked the goal his little boy was crying. Which meant he was crying. Said he'd never done that for a football game before. And oddly I know exactly how he feels.

Has anyone called it? We are top 4 locks. No Selwood no Cats.

When will Melbourne break these embarrassing records?

2002 was my favourite. Was out of footy for a while, fell in love again watching Neitz win the Coleman. Dating ourselves here Sku. -

If you want me to answer I'm gonna need that in English. Start with a language actually... And yes. Still think there's place for Trengove as a backup inside mid. Not at Subi though. That was played at breakneck speed. Stretch had an ok game. Didn't impact it massively after he kicked that goal. But his pace was a relief to have. And sure, if you want to call 35 touches 8 marks and 6 tackles, and half a dozen complimentary posters just opinions, then that's your privilege. We all see different things. I would say though that that much footy is just about impossible to pick up if you're "disinterested." Even at VFL level. Kent, like Trenners and Stretch, can be in the side at the right time. Though not best 22 any of them, in a completely full list. Stretch possibly in the future.

It's hard to follow in the guts particularly. The whole team defense thing, we share it around... it's holding true. I was sort of interested to see if Vince got a serious job. Boy was he ever good. Likewise Melksham who it seems is really genuinely running with guys now. Yeo is the big one... if you play on him and restrict him like that, you should just about get votes. I rate him as high as almost anyone this year. Lock for AA.
-
I reckon after 35 touches and that many extras I'd be pretty shagged out too. Also, you're factoring in one poster's opinion that a player "looks disinterested" vs half a dozen who say he had a dip. All I'm saying.
-
Each to their own. Everyone else seems to be pretty positive on what he brought. His big weakness was defensive stuff, and apparently he went hard at it. That said. MFC 22 is among the hardest to get into at the moment. So he has pretty poor timing.
-
35 touches, 6 tackles, 8 marks not enough?
-
Gee Maynard still going. Wags to get in for injured Salem. Gonna be hard not to pick Weed. Then again who comes out. Ditto JKH and Kent.
-
Can someone with better eyes than mine tell me who was on the following. Yeo, Shuey, Priddis, Darling.

I'd love to see a breakdown of our back to back victory records. First three in a row last year. Then again this year against Dogs. 4 in a row first time in 11 years. What's the 5,6,7 etc... Anyone know a stats page you can customise for that? -
Footy folklore. We'll be recalling this game for the rest of his career. And his sons' careers.
-
I actually teared up just a little bit at the second last line. Not even ashamed to admit it. 59 likes and counting. A record? Post of the year. (so far) And I'll tell you why. I don't think any posts have come close to being appropriate after what the club treated us to tonight. This one came the closest.

Helped by the fact he only had eyes for the ball, and Hurn was in mid air as well. So no. You're flat out wrong. 7 weeks.
-
Couldn't really have done any more. TMac still too good.

TMac goal. On McGovern. One of the most brutish and hard to beat KP players in the comp.
