to be honest, I don't think you have a whole lot to be concerned about... we came out, tackled ferociously, were the hardest we've been at the footy we've been all season, and we beat the worst travelling side in the comp, and one of the worst teams in the comp, without 2 of their best players, by 20 points... not exactly a convincing victory... we really should've won by 60 IMO... not really expecting a whole lot on sunday... but alas, I'll be there...

there's a massive difference between a shoulder reco and just a cleanup I would've thought... lets not get too carried away until we hear something official from the club...

Think we may have an answer folks... Today on the triple M pre match, the boys were talking about a time when the Dees were going to draft BT... They took a crew around to his place, convincing him to come to Melbourne... BT was keen, then Cameron Schwab shut the deal down, without really telling BT and giving him any details... Ended up going to Collingwood in the draft I believe... Lyon pinned him, and asked if this is why he has such a vendetta against the MFC... The Brissle didn't have a whole lot to say when posed with this question...

NataWHOi? I think we saw today why we took Watts ahead of NickNat... NickNat can struggle to impact on matches, Watts has been a more consistent performer thus far... NickNat could turn out to be a superstar, there's much more upside there, but there's also a greater risk he won't realise his potential. Lets hope both turn out to be great players, lets hope this does shut all the Watts bashers up...

Valenti's form at Casey has been solid, but not outstanding... If you hold Valenti to the same standards everyone seems to hold Newton to before he gets another go for Melbourne, then he's nowhere near it... He needs to get 30 possessions and 10 clearances a game in that case... Having said that, I think they should both be playing right now.

Tonight on AFL teams, the second game was Melbourne Vs West Coast... Said something along the lines of "Going from 85,000 on Friday night, to 8,500 on Saturday afteroon where Melbourne take on West Coast"

I was out watching a band tonight, had some friends texting me with the news... This is really sad... My first thoughts are with Jim, and hoping this is an illness he can beat.... I've got no doubt he would give his life for this footy club, lets all prey that this is an illness that he can defeat, to see our club thrive into the future...

when we've played him in the midfield, he's always been playing as a tagger... He's shown at VFL level that he can win the footy. Been getting his hands on it more than Valenti of late... I'd like to see him given free licence, just let him run around and try and get as much footy as he can... He's got the tank, could play a similar role to Bruce except he can kick better than Bruce...

Did you even watch the game? Cheney was probably our worst player. His disposal was shocking, his defensive efforts were a disgrace... Needs to put in a better peformance than that for a call up... As for Newton, his kicking was bad, but at least he's having shots on goal. His defensive efforts were not a disgrace, at least his tackles stuck unlike your love boy Cheney... I think it was more than a coincidence that Juice happened to play in our only win for the season. I agree, I was quite impressed by Stack. Now for my changes... I think it's a good move, with Watts and Jurrah now forward, Ricky P down back, where he's played his best footy could be a welcome addition... Still would've liked Juice to come in for Robbo...

I'm convinced that we go with the next best midfielder with our 2nd selection. Don't need a great forward line to win flags, but you do need a great midfield... 2 of the best mids in the land will be more valuable than 1 mid and another key position player...

Kyle was dropped this week, and is not an emergency for the Brisbane game. Needs to work on the defensive side of his game, a fact many have conveniently overlooked here...
