I have empathy with the non feral Bomber supporter. As to the EFC.. No sympathy athy whatsoever. They are reaping what they sowed. They exhibited gall beyond arrogance in attempting to pervert justice. There a now dozens of inept and gullible players who dont know what health issues lay ahead and yet yhey continue their foolhardy stance. The club has brought the game into the mire, way beyond anything prior and still want to continue the farce. All teams will end up paying in some ways. THE EFC has often been a loud mouth and conceited thorn in our side when we come under view/review. Have no problem at all if they fell off map and replaced.

Just as a hypothetical id expect the club to want change ....i.e a pick also in return...say the Crows 2nd rounder...which will probably end up hovering about 30 to make it more legit. Seems a tad fetched-a-la-afar for mine but the silly season does produce some interesting results.

In thinking about this about the only correlation to the general idea of guilt and such as pertains to normal felony is to do with at what point a 'suspect' - "alledged user" would/might cop to the charge and from this what treatment he/she may reasonably expect. This is my lay appreciation so jack, Red, other learned Dlanders feel free to correct. Person X does a naughty and gets collared.They are informed they will be charged with Y offence. Now invariably this person will know full well whether they did anything or not. If they honestly believe they havent then a "not guilty" reply is not only warranted but understandable. If however they know they did it then they have a choice. Cop to it with "guilty" and seek leniency with subsequent treatment by the courts or run the gamut and try your luck hoping to slip out somehow. The players must surely be in no doubt that the jig is up. How culpable is the only question not that they are. This to me is a point of logic they fail to grasp. Under the code they are indeed culpable as ultimately they are the ones responsible and they are not getting this. They still seem to think its someone elses fault. It may well have been some elses experiment but they could have been more dilligent and werent. They should be seeking clarity form the club. The players must surely know now the club has done "something" as ASADA is lining all and sundry up for sanctions. Any person with a modicum of intelligence (ahhhh thats it....) Would surely think, " I dont know yet what ive taken thats banned but they do" "The club wont tell me ( bastards) but it cant be too good " maybe I need to realise I AM guilty and take this tac. Im just curious , in a way, as to the thought processes ( or lack thereof ) in respect to the players. As I read it in effect they are awaiting ASADA's evidence to tell them what they had been given. This is bizarre. Would it not be more correct for them to be asking Golden Boy and Little to explain what exactly went on and provide them with this info ? If you want to know what you were given ask the ones giving it, surely. Any pretence of them not knowing must be put aside now.
