There is NO more footy mad State than Tassie. There is the well paraded argument that whilst such nearly all Footy following folk are well entrenched in supporting a particular team so the potential in limited for a noobie. The only thing about this position is there has never been a choice, an opportunity to follow a local mob. Then of course would come the time honoured dilemma...house it north or south ? Id love Tassie to have a team. Deserving on one a long way before Blacktown !! No love for it with the Gilldillions alas. Should any new teams enter or existing relocate then it must be Tassie for mine.

Tend to agree VP All indicators do suggest Paddy veering dangerously closer to a bust than a keeper. Even in early days you often glimpse the potential. Even our Weed has shown a bit to suggest in a year or two he might well be that something. Paddy looks a right plodder by comparison. Truck has his covered ...in spades.

Bringbackthebiff You sum it up early...i.e It's ALL about consistency. I don't think we have a claim to that just yet. It almost beckons an irony in so much as the less we get excited about wins ( though happy we will be ) and more used to them then that indicates ,imho, that we are really going somewhere.

I think the idea of any of these being danger games is missing the mark. For mine a Danger Game is a game where you are caught napping or blindsided and lose against a trend. I see no trend currently, just some results. All games are really winnable if you brig your A game and play for 4 qtrs. If we dont we'll lose , as simple as that.. In terms of finals all remaining games are practically clutch games. The competition is THAT relatively even , every game has to be played out to its potential. I think tomorrow is just as winnable as it is losable. We now as a club have to step up, step up to a level where we treat all games as ours for winning...and not worry so much about whether the opposition is a 'danger' ...they are ALWAYS the opposition, just treat them as that.
