So the obvious choice was us. Hes already had more success with us than before. It's not up to us to red carpet his ascension.... he has to show there's a reason. For some players the Magoos is fertile ground... the Seniors....gets a tad barren. Some sorta exist in that space in between. He is one such. Richmonds recent wins have not been against the leagues best defenders. Tiges recent wins: rated defence (wheelo) Hawthorn... ..... 14th West Coast....... 18th Sydney............. 9th St Kilda............ 5th Fremantle........ 10th Giants............ 11th Now they come up against....US... currently rated 2nd. Our attack.... 7th v their 10th We ought to shade them. But they'll ve having a red hot go... but we wont disappear in the 4th

We can sort of be both...and that's when we come alive... Let the backs lock it down... but a lot more daring do as McVee shows at times.. even Woey giving glimpses. Control the back...light up the front. Pick your moments ...take your chances. They say not to give a sucker and even break.. Keep the pressure on THEIR defence.. If the only difference in the end is the calibre of defence....we win. If we can take that and add 'elements' of inspirational incursion .... if the likes of Chandler and Kozzi can pick their pockets.. we give ourselves double the likelihood of a win. I wouldn't take this game lightly... but I'd be attacking rather than defending.
