Richmonds recent wins have not been against the leagues best defenders. Tiges recent wins: rated defence (wheelo) Hawthorn... ..... 14th West Coast....... 18th Sydney............. 9th St Kilda............ 5th Fremantle........ 10th Giants............ 11th Now they come up against....US... currently rated 2nd. Our attack.... 7th v their 10th We ought to shade them. But they'll ve having a red hot go... but we wont disappear in the 4th

We can sort of be both...and that's when we come alive... Let the backs lock it down... but a lot more daring do as McVee shows at times.. even Woey giving glimpses. Control the back...light up the front. Pick your moments ...take your chances. They say not to give a sucker and even break.. Keep the pressure on THEIR defence.. If the only difference in the end is the calibre of defence....we win. If we can take that and add 'elements' of inspirational incursion .... if the likes of Chandler and Kozzi can pick their pockets.. we give ourselves double the likelihood of a win. I wouldn't take this game lightly... but I'd be attacking rather than defending.

Imo ...whatever 'managing'.... of players....or 'fiddling' of plan we carry out going towards Sept we might want to have it all osrted before the Swans game. That for mine needs to be a Finals' practice effort. They're going to come at us hard.; more than likley Buddy's swansong so they'll lift for it.. The games prior are a bit 'widget' like in a fashion...but we need to be up and ready for Sydney...thats a dress rehearsal.

I tend to agree with those that suggest Benny is harshly critiqued. He actually KNOWS where to go and BE....shame many of his team mates dont have his appreciation of the forward game...( and burn him ) Is that Benny's fault ?? Not sure what the f was going on with May .....wasnt his best game and making some very uncharacteristic f-ups !! And I'm pretty sure we now all know the 'code' for the ball is going up the guts !!. Tommo would be stiff to be ommitted... has performed well... Very cool under pressure......and has the tank to go with a fit forward (oppo ) and yet I still want to fit PIG into the side..... cant see how that all works.. I reckon we will end up 4th....all but by design.....with a view to the G and a feast upon Pies come the 1st QF. So we have some largesse ( though not truckloads ) to 'manage' a few here and there. Somwhere along the road home we need to rest Rooyen. I think his forward education needs to go to another level... he's pretty good ( very good ) for a young lad...but he's no irreplaceable...and he needs to think more. I'd like to think we have the Toiges measure by some.......but they are one of those teams that worry me....they can play so well on the fumes of self-belief....even when the talent board is a bit bare. Am sure Richmond have their sights well set on their rightful position of ...9th....so we better be wary ;)

I actually think he might make an interesting player.... and not just because his Hawthorn mad Aunty is a friend of ours ..lol.... but because he has footy nouse..
