The Run Home
And if Port finishes first as opposed the Filth.....well thats a very different proposition. Personally i see the big dance as a prison bar event. Still...lets try and get over Brisbane and see what the view looks like then.

Who owns/controls it ? Cheers

The Run Home
Quite....if we cant knock off the Leos on our own deck......much of what comes after is moot imho. We'll be making up the numbers... This isnt an 8 point game coming up... its more than that....it's about relevance.

Training Ground?
You can have both... You could say develop Caulfield as your primary base and still utilise Casey. After all Casey would still use/need Casey..

GAMEDAY: Rd 17 vs St. Kilda
Rubbish... it simply predicts two things really.. you may retain the ball more in a pocket...and youre far more likely to score in the corridor. Pleased dont offef up the falacy that greater retention = scoring. This is the greatest furphy of all... Its about efficiency and accuracy. You may not have ir as much where youd like it...but youll score higher. Stangely the game is about the latter not the former. The best teams over history are the ones that dont stuff around.

Garry Lyon analysis
If we controlled the ball better in the front half , we wouldn't need to expend as much energy in chaotic contesting. It will be interesting to see how we play tomorrow night.

Garry Lyon analysis
It makes no sense though ....if fatigue and tiredness are a concern, or consequence of the mythical loading , to adopt a game style that is low percentage return on maximum effort. That's plain dumb...surely.

PREGAME: Rd 17 vs St. Kilda
Are we to suppose we ARE looking to straighten up our inbounding ? The only talls i can see playing in the arc is Benny...and probably a resting Ruck. This to me suggests ( my god..hopefully) a lot less if any bombing. Being 'shorter' forward are we lowering eyes and opening up , giving ourselves some space ?? Time will tell Go Dees
