  1. certainly in the top 10
  2. whoever his manager is did a bang up job by his client - a player under contract that the club knew had...challenges, shall we say...that nevertheless managed to get a massive extension on huge coin tied to the rise in the overall cap
  3. i thought he was good, but not great the panicked kick out of d50 has become the occasional rather than the exception and the round before i honestly thought lynch was edging towards keeping the tigs' competitive what i find is that he needs some consistent footy; difficult at the moment with the way that our games are spread out
  4. not based on current form he won't
  5. flattening the contract - he gets more years on slightly less $$ per annum, but more over an extended period of time
  6. Garry Lyon’s MFC source on Scoops Manure’s claim that Oliver opted out of playing meth coke due to reduced playing time: “that is complete and utter [censored]”
  7. i was thinking the same thing or, to put it in a phrase slobbster / jay might understand "it's difficult to understand, this, how english language, mangled"
  8. what lessons does he learn from other players and the way they adapt to being an afl level players? what is it like to go from the powerhouse big bodied underage performer to a baby when it comes to physical make-up in the afl? how has his life changed as a professional footballer?
  9. yes, they both went to melbourne grammar
  10. Not even factual posts about the charges?
  11. about 18 months...
  12. maclure - the story morris - the story niall - the story ...journalists - the story majority of em don't give two hoots about who they barrack for, or used to barrack for...they want the STORY
  13. Think most only removed him from the side to start vs Dingley cos of mrp chook lotto He had no case to answer to stays in the 22
  14. More alike to JUH at the dogs - he is the player who is failing to attend training, removed himself from the club, etc Difference is Clayton’s contract is significantly longer and for more $$ I can’t see any club offering us much for him, and we’ll have to carry a significant portion of the $$ owed to him for a long time to come Trading him is a lose / lose situation for us
  15. bears just that little bit better than gc17 very hard to see them not competing for the premiership again
  16. as two academy selections for the gc17 franchise, highly unlikely
  17. those were the days! their side has barely changed since then - albeit with two locks in their key defensive posts - and yet they are now flying
  18. great use of the body, robbed of a great mark and shot on goal also, will not be suspended according to ralph in the little paper
  19. like others i'm expecting milkshake will be suspended, so that's two forwards down with petty out under concussion protocols fortunately, dingley aren't super tall down forward, so we can probably roll with just may and plugger mac as the key defenders; leave turner forward OUT: melksham, petty IN: van rooyen, oliver you don't play someone like oliver in the vfl; he wasn't in bad form, just a bad headspace
  20. that sounds like a category b rookie father-son selection in future years to me!
  21. where was this ignore maclure - everyone in the wider football world does
  22. we were a top 4 team at the time they were both emerging, and we prioritised chandler's development in favour of bedford's, and so the other has subsequently moved on to further his career there wasn't a role for them both in the way our side was constructed the footy dept made the right decision for the side and bedford make the right call for his career swings / roundabouts
  23. 6: gawn 5: chandler 4: turner 3: viney 2: melksham 1: petracca
  24. max just revealed that 75 points is the new benchmark that we want to hold teams to back in the 2021-23 days it was 60
