only melbourne-listed players who are playing like afl-listed players are frost and keilty
-
williamstown are top of the table they're very well organised and they play with great discipline
-
lovely kick by hullett to make it 3.4 to 3.5 watts is copping a bath from joel tippett curently
-
watts' first 5 mins were great and trengove has no trouble winning the ball but his kicking is so up-and-under... willo have dominated last 10 mins without putting it on the scoreboard...and just like that they get their third 1.3.9 to 3.3.21
-
he's gone from being ranked 25-40 odd to being inside top 15 interesting times ahead
-
go big fella
-
Watts has talent but his application can often be found wanting From the sounds of Plapp's report, it doesn't sound like he did enough to force his way back in the side
-
it's a good listen although i spent the whole time thinking 'god he sounds like chris dawes'
-
he was in reasonable form before his brain fade, regularly hitting the scoreboard as a half forward he and jeffy would wax and wane quite a bit in that middle part of the year i think he still might have a role to play this year

brad hardie? -
yeah, if viney is genuinely 'sore' then you could understand it, but not someone who is simply not having a HUGE impact on the game but is still very involved and working hard on and off the ball i thought it was interesting when trac started on the back of the square a few times; both times i seem to remember him not rushing in with alacrity but actually sitting out the back we won the ball both times i vaguely recall, but it was an interesting switch and something he did effectively at some stages during the year; tyson has done it too (e.g. the game in alice)
-
i refuse to believe you 'rest' your best available 22 players when there are the finals series on the line and everyone gets a rest in two weeks anyway is trac in our best 22? anyone proposing we 'rest' him at this point must think he's at least borderline 22? if he's fit to play, i would want him in the side every week at the moment - his form is not near as bad as some on here are making out
-
saints will have to pay up big to keep him had his break out year in the 'right' season
-
jack has unfortunately always played like a 196cm player who thinks he's 175cm; he doesn't jump at the ball as he doesn't fancy the contest the majority of the time 0 tackles in the vfl is simply not up to standards expected of a bog ordinary vfl player, let alone a decent afl one

Christian Salem offered a week
whatwhat say what replied to KC from Casey's topic in Melbourne Demons
looked more crude than cruel, and perhaps more clumsy than crude unlucky that it knocked the bluebagger out, but it would seem judging by their medical reports that a strong gust of wind knocks the majority of their players out -
two weeks down to one with a guilty plea

yeah, i meant he'd be the best of our fringe i rate vdb, and it would seem the coaches do too -
first quarter was great haven't watched the replay of the remaining quarters, but at the ground it was noticeable that they seemed to put a lot more work into him defensively

wines is a brownlow shot, clearly nothing in the greene boot to the face for mine

lewis is a ripper how anyone can i question is worth i cannot fathom

Umpiring of MFC games very questionable

apparently it was the 'rule of the week' - no straight arm fending off in the ruck contests apparently roughead got pinged for it a few times for footscray too -
i'm sure i remember yze wearing one for a bit, but my mind may be playing tricks on me
-
he looked slimmer to me, and he moved across the flanks beautifully who was our last player to regularly wear a helmet?
-
on the abc commentary they were talking about how much he clearly HATES wearing the helmet; apparently every time he came to the bench the first thing he would do was rip it off and throw it into the bunker very funny
