  1. This is painful to watch
  2. Thus far the worst thing is when we inevitably do turn it over going i50 the corridor seems to be wide open for Hall and Martin to link up and carry the ball the length of the ground They’re not wasting opportunities like we are currently
  3. Why do I feel so confident with Plugger i50 but completely terrified of T Mac coming out of the backline? Brilliant read of the ball by ANB
  4. I detest watching us on the tv; I find it so much more stressful than watching live We are getting the repeat entries i50 but wasting so many opportunities
  5. Carltank gameplan = Kreuzer to Cripps to Simpson (or any outside runner, really) to kick it long to Charlie Curnow Remarkably effective against the Peppies, all things considered...
  6. Peptides playing Carltank into form
  7. Blocking free kicks = rule of the week
  8. If Gawn is on the list he’s automatically the vote; dunno whether or not he’s ‘young’ tho, but he’s already our best player Otherwise the answer is either Clayton or Jesse
  9. Max of 12.3, low of 7.1 on June 30, 2017 according to the BOM Was it THAT much cooler last night? I personally doubt it...I think Hawks are just fair-weather supporters...I guess that happens with sustained September success...sigh
  10. 32,700 there last night Our game against the Swans - the Bugg punch match - got 15k more than that? Where are Hawthorn’s 70k members?
  11. Except they kinda do - Ronke is another rookie selection for them who has debuted early the year after being recruited, like Papley before him, and seemingly half their backline Then there’s Florent and Hayward, plus academy gifts like Heeney and Mills Irs just extraordinary the way they come on so quick up there
  12. What do Sydney do that they keep developing all these kids into potential superstars?
  13. Lewis is contracted for 2019 No person in their right mind is going to forego a year’s pay
  14. Between Clarko st the hawks and Balme at the cats and Tigers, our formerly involved have done well over the last decade
  15. i can't believe hawthorn are so good already AGAIN clarkson is clearly the modern coaching marvel
  16. ben gale, peggy o'neal and neil balme... which some of balme's golden touch had rubbed off on the dees circa 94-97... maybe we suffered for (injury) sins so others could succeed?!??
  17. whatwhat say what replied to Grapeviney's post in a topic in Melbourne Demons
Dude on a facebook group I frequent says that they taught young Kobe and he’s a massive Dockers fan...
  18. Here’s hoping we send him off in style A premiership would do nicely
  19. Hogan also reminds me more of Tom Lynch from the Crows than Daniher with the way he’s developing
  20. I can’t believe how bad Daniher has been this year but allegedly he has osteitis pubis Hogan is a dead set freak of a footballer
  21. very happy to see gus have a great game last week after a second week in the guts i had massive doubts on his role in the team as a half back / half forward, but his work in the square was great however, for mine he is a long way behind petracca in terms of being a quality top level afl player this was his best game by a mile, but let's see him do it regularly
  22. so salem and viney are still out this week?
  23. what steve and thrice both just said puts in so many words what i agree with - forward / ruck relief who competes in the air and at ground level - and most importantly as said by both it's what he allows us to do structurally that makes him so important his competitive efforts at ground level are excellent
  24. no, t mac is more forward / wing, moving up and down the ground to provide a tall and strong-marking target we have missed t mac big time - he straightens us up remarkably don't think he had a single ruck contest yesterday
  25. there's no vision from the angle where you can see where he actually hit him hogan went down fairly quickly but how on earth did he MISS that goal??
