  1. i think our young talent like langford and lindsay and others inexperienced like turner coming through is better, our mid-range players like pickett and bowey are miles better, and our senior players like gawn, petracca, oliver and viney - as down on form as they are - are better baggers' list is not great
  2. i reckon if a club takes on his contract they'll get him for a 3rd rounder - signed until the end of 2029 on a fairly hefty deal
  3. good enough to be nominated at #2 in his draft, ahead of naicos he's a cheat code that kid
  4. the picks that became langford and lindsay and the cost of about $900k a year is a pretty tasty silver platter the filth are very good that's for sure
  5. he was bog ordinary for the aints since his mental health crisis on the eve of the 2023 finals his comeback in 2025 in a different environment has been a great story for the year
  6. india going great guns
  7. yes, and be far, far bigger and more valuable to the club in the long term yes, it's a complete bugger of a slow horse (pun intended) BUT ...and this is all just my opinion... the club has been pretty transparent with the fans around that caulfield was the plan, since about 2022 onwards, when the other experiments - yarra park everything that they've said happen was going to take place - that it was going to be a long, slow journey those jonesing for action are just going to have to wait for news when it comes the board has made the decision that this is the future for the club complain as much as you want; it's not changing now even if the board is completely removed i don't think it would; nor would we want it to as this is only our most recent attempt to get a home base the incompetency of the club to fail to deliver anything has been appalling as far as i know, this is as close as we've ever been
  8. 25k there last night; north wanted 35k still, 5k more than attended aints vs footscray a few rounds back the first half and a bit was very, very watchable
  9. very raw, but as the vfl season has gone on you can definitely see that he's growing into the role
  10. well, i don't think it determines whether he is or he isn't - as i suggested; i don't know what's his defensive work rate? what's his running capability? his tackling? so many more components go into a small forward's role what are the reasons he can't crack gc17's best side? what's his form like in the vfl? the more talent we can bring into the squad, the better we definitely have a dearth of small forwards - i'd argue chandler is the only goalkicking one these days, with pickett playing up the ground as a mid / forward, and even chin roams high both spargo and sparrow play more connector or defensive roles as nominal 'small forwards' in our side
  11. why ridiculous? close enough to a 50:50 split
  12. rosas - 48.37 iin 47 games dunno if he's a necessarily a smart goalkicker based on those numbers
  13. xerri now going to the race to be assessed what an absolute farce he wasn't sent off immediately to be checked out
  14. xerri ain't right
  15. this is what games under the roof at the carpark were meant to be like for the most part i'd argue it's made for more dour than fast football on the whole, but that's demonland 'vibe' as opposed to any statistical fact
  16. entertaining clash so far crowds are irrelevant these days; all about the eyeballs on tv and as a neutral this has been a fun watch
  17. i'm more inspiring than denis pagan
  18. as many said about nathan jones' career

  20. 100 years and a 100 point belting incoming
  21. hogan and taylor for a start, plus others were mentioned on a podcast i was listening to
  22. didn't realise gw$ were going to be missing so many players meth coke would want to be competitive, at the very least
  23. top 9 vs bottom top 9 should all win, and win well the only one that strikes as a 'hmm, maybe' upset is bloods over flagmantle pear have been in decent form too and might surprise the bears; if we can beat the latter on their home deck, i see no reason why the pear can't too
  24. brad green LOATHES being called 'acting president' he is THE president
  25. hore had a very strong season in the vfl in between stints at the mfc maybe we're the problem
