  1. for me, top 4 at the start of the season was the minimum 'success' requirement for me, top 4 at the end of the season remains the minimum 'success' requirement if we drop out of the top 4 at the end of the home and away season it'll be a disappointment, but the end of the season is the priority, not the end of the home and away
  2. no, NOT doing something to them...
  3. it makes sense grundy ain't a chump
  4. if we end up with two firsts for dog, plus extras, i can completely understand one of them being moved for grundy
  5. it's regularly posited that one of the reasons the nfl is so successful is because of scarcity they have 32 teams but only 17 games during an 18-week period with one "bye" week off i would think there'd be far more value in every team playing each other once, either in a 9/8 then 8/9 split under current circumstances or alternatively an even 9 home / 9 away split if or when tasmania comes in
  6. you'd think, considering that their only genuine star is their captain, that there's not gonna be any stars on the trading block
  7. #22 maggot might've done himself out of a finals appearance with some of today's decisions
  8. i don't understand the obsession on here of wanting to change our structure - the only time that will happen will be if plugger mac is available again harmes for sparrow remains the move i'd make but i won't be surprised when it's 'no changes' vs the bears
  9. he's been enormous on a day not made for talls 22 possessions, 5 marks, 2 tackles in a slop fest at the time of typing only knock on him is a poster and a point
  10. is it pretty unusual for juniors coming thru these days to have multiple hamstring injuries?
  11. blues playing better wet weather football
  12. perfect footy weather ๐Ÿ˜ˆ
  13. woey dropped an absolute sitter
  14. i'd say 55:45 our way last night VERY loud crowd
  15. 6: melksham 5: gawn 4: oliver 3: brayshaw 2: petty 1: hunt
  16. in terms of the crowd, i think it'll be low 60s
  17. agreed on 1, but i think their best players remain imports i'd say some have got better since getting to the aints, including some you mentioned - steele has become their best player, by some margin, while howard and higgins have got more playing time and thus got better and wood is a better player at the aints than he was at the kangas what they've definitely done is recruit a heap of players past their prime and expected them to be key players - hannebury, hill crouch, jones - or as stop-gap measures who are still miles better than their own developed secondary options, like ryder their development of talent has been pretty bad throughout the modern era
  18. the way max king gets bodied out of the contest is similar to weideman
  19. The fact that heโ€™s in the guts and pulling down these sorts of numbers as an under-ager is very encouraging
  20. ironic that on a day when a rugby player who repeatedly copped head high hits committed suicide - and I bet they find cte when they study his brain - the afl decided that, no, actually, the head is not sacrosanct after all
  21. has cripps got off yet?
