  1. sounds like he's tracking nicely as a developing mid - is that his likely role at afl level? will he get a chance to play vfl, like other youngsters?
  2. gc17 are going to be super tough to beat going forward nucleus of a really good side there
  3. an oldie but a goody
  4. whereas kmart dusty at the filth's intention was to physically hurt the meth coke bloke
  5. puddy tatts getting more soft ones than footscray tonite smorgon will have to write a stern letter
  6. i watch casey's every game he was much better earlier in the season when he didn't have additional talls competing in the same role positives based on what i've seen: he runs to the right spots his hands are quite good his kicking shows penetration and accuracy negatives based on what i've seen: he doesn't appear to have much tank he's as skinny as a rake his hangs his head when things don't go the way he wants you're just another hanrahan, typical of too many on this platform that want perfection and only ever look for the negative
  7. Yeah doesn’t impose himself on the game with physicality but always runs to the right spots and is a lovely kick both at goal and around the ground
  8. Brown and Jefferson played target roles well and Schache as the ruck-forward was excellent Woewodin and JJ very good thru midfield, and Laurie made smart decisions Smith did a lot well but also a few howlers, while Turner and Adams combined well without having a huge impact It was a quality game
  9. lochkart just poleaxed grey
  10. thriller diller as a sideshow bald strong mark at chf hits up shache and dees are back in front by a point
  11. grey with another after the siren following a lovely pass from schache high quality game of footy
  12. southport's ball movement is very good deakyn smith does a lot right but his decision making needs work
  13. now THAT was brilliant by jordon intercept spoil at half back, roved the spillage, got it to sestan who fumbled, buttered up, worked it thru a chain with woewodin i think, goal from 55 on the run outstanding
  14. height has nothing to do with his body shape, his low centre of gravity, and the sort of player he looks to play like elliott is smaller than either and plays 'tall' by comparison to trac
  15. two weeks in a row oppo sent their 'cooler' to viney carlton elected to go head-to-head bad move
  16. sestan's body shape reminds me of the likes of brian wilson or peter daicos - it'll be interesting to see how it changes after a few pre-seasons can definitely see him as a jamie elliott type i suppose fitness will depend on how he can eventually move thru the midfield
  17. i know he's a demonland favourite, but i can see why jj isn't a certain starter at a top four afl side
  18. the two gerards on sen actually went hard on how poor the week before was - not one of our games, but the footscray one i believe they're not professional there's too much inconsistency in each game with four different decision makers on field there's no accountability for the quality of their performances in-game and week-to-week appalling
  19. 100% in agreement with brayshaw playing his best football behind the ball our entire backline is built around players reading the play coming in so well and being able to work together our disposal everywhere else on the ground was pretty putrid but our backline workrate and effort was first class once again
  20. 6: petracca 5: salem 4: may 3: lever 2: mcvee 1: brayshaw our backline was superb tonight i know tomlinson had a few kicked on him, but having his presence there worked for us
  21. No idea seeing as I’m sitting on my usual spot on level 2a Amazed yr actually at the game?!??
  22. Here’s the letter
  23. Woeful half of football from both sides
