Need his left foot. He's a better footballer than Michie in every way. I feel bad for Michie but it's an easy swap.
-
How was the zero respect he showed Martin after the free kick deep in the back pocket. Just played on and waltzed around him like he wasn't there.
-
Yeah, he'll be sore for a few days.
-
Thanks, bj. Sounds promising.

It's all about the Petraccage next week. No?
-
Can we? I read somewhere that you can't trade them 2 years in a row. I'm pretty sure it was a supporter comment somewhere though, been wondering if it's true or not.

I've said it many times before, but my biggest knock on Newton is his lack of strength in a contest, which has been really awful. Other than that I don't mind him. Can anyone that was there today comment on how he was over the ball? Haven't seen him in a team with the types of inside beasts we have now though, so there could be an outside roll for him.

Cousin I believe.

Yeah I mentioned that one in the Petracca debut thread (should just be a Petracca thread btw), incredible skill. -
WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BEN KENNEDY

I watched his 2nd goal yesterday that many times. Best goal of the day by a mile when you consider the whole sequence. The strong tackle to stop the potential rebound and keep it alive in our forward line, the manic hard as [censored] dive to retrieve the ball, then waltz out the back and dribble it through like it was no biggie. Just wanted it more than everyone. Sensational goal.- 719 replies

That's why we're letting Richmond look at him first.
-
Just turned it on after the siren, why was Dunstan crying? Apart from being StKilda tradition...
-
More so than Gold Coast, at least.
-
Any frisbee throwing?

That 2nd goal was ridiculous. His clean pick ups below his knees at pace and quick give offs have been a good glimpse into the talent he possesses. I love how he and Oliver keep their feet in all contests. Those 2 are so exciting.

DEMONLAND PLAYER OF THE YEAR - Round 7

6 - Gawn 5 - N Jones 4 - Jetta 3 - Oliver 2 - Viney 1 - Harmes -

We only go up when we lose.

If the opposing ruckman doesn't play a blinder, teams are on the back foot all game vs Gawn. What a luxury. Thought Viney's first half disposal was woeful. He snuffed that out with 2 kicks straight after half time. The skipper lead like he should, could smell a kill and really stepped up. Oliver is a [censored] amazing footballer. Best hands I've seen at the Dees ever. That handball into the corridor before Bernie [censored] it up was something else. Nev Jetta is one courageous and extremely consistent footballer. Apart from Nev the defence always worries me. Small forwards kicking goals on opposite feet and Petracca getting a feel for it, party time. I'd be happy if I never heard the name Ablett again, [censored] they never shut up about him. Gawn sold him candy once, and outran him later, no mention of that though.

Have the Bulldogs been outside this year?

Had 24 v North.

Andrew Walker should get a maccas award if he ever keeps his feet.

Why does Tim keep calling hands 'scratchers'? Everyone knows they're "dukes."
