  1. Could not stand him and I’m glad he’s gone. Saddest part is footy commentary will be even worse without him, that’s how bad they all are. Lingy’s 4 minute nickname anecdotes should get some more airtime. So we’ve got that to look forward to.
  2. I liked the bit where the score went over 90 points. Lever, Trac, Oliver, Spagbol, Chandler all quite good. Decent hit out with no injuries, can’t ask for much more.
  3. If JFK had Fritsch’s hair he’d still be with us.
  4. The classic 4 up in the marking contest. It’ll work this year you’ll see.
  5. Lynch is an expert, bit of a worry.
  6. I’ve seen enough. Is the granny back at the G this year?
  7. I liked the bits where I went phhwoooaaarrr
  8. It’s amazing that people that have posted on here for 10 years expect a kid in his second season to extend longer than 2 years. Especially one with star potential.
  9. I’ve been checking in mate, but haven’t had the enthusiasm for footy that I usually do. And avoid checking in when we lose which there’s been plenty of. Not enough for Baker to be a walk up start you’re right, but I think there’s a player in there. Got the skills and pace, add a tank and we’re good to go. Worst case scenario Langdon plays both wings. He’s everywhere anyway.
  10. Seeing a lot about not picking up a wingman, and not a lot about Baker, am I the only one that was impressed with what he did with his opportunities? Very happy with Big Bargain Ben Brown. This probably sounds stupid, but I think he was a better fit for Geelong than Cameron is. They can hit a lead up forward, Brown is an excellent lead up forward. Cameron isn’t. Far too often he prefers to lead away from the ball carrier. I think Geelong sold the farm when there was a cheaper and possibly better option, and only 5 months in age difference. Could be medical but what would Geelong know if they didn’t test him. lolz @ Collingwood The Bulldogs midfield is [censored] frightening.
  11. All over. Reckon Lever has money on us to miss the finals. No professional can be this bad. [censored] him off.
  12. Carlton and Gold Coast are in the brave effort Grand Final.
  13. Can anyone confirm if they get 4 points in this scenario.
  14. Hope it was touched, makes it even sweeter. Even if it was a point, Trac would’ve intercepted the kick in and kicked a goal anyway. Kane Cornes looks like chewed bubblegum.
  15. There should be one of those video fan screens for Melbourne fans to boo Rhys Mathieson.
  16. Geez there are some dodgy calls on the back of one game. Viney does the hard yards every week and has performed against good teams. There’s a reason he gets first dips on his position. Angus has also done well against good teams, but he’s gone missing equally as much. His 2nd half last week (4 days ago, can you remember back that far?) shows they can function in the same team very well. They’re good players and good players should be able to adapt, the onus is on Gus for mine as he’s a more versatile player. Spargo was really clean, excellent score involvements, didn’t look as rushed and took advantage of the space. Tomald tried hard, did a couple of good things, but none of it made up for his Port effort. And again did costly avoidable skill errors. Back out for me. Kozzie was kinda like Spargo but with the woohoo factor. Apparently having his jumper and shorts ripped off when he hasn’t got the ball is fine. Maybe he should change his name to Rioli or Selwood. Big fan of Rivers’ future. Despite the earlier ramblings, it was great to see Angus mixing it up with Trac and Oliver. Excellent game. If Trac had have nailed all those goals he would’ve gotten all 6 Brownlow votes, what a freak. Oliver is starting to take the [censored]. He was good, but now he’s realised how easy it can be. Good games from Weed and Jackson again. Langdon’s little fumbles are stopping him being a really good player. So many times he fumbles, costing him time and space that he works so hard to create. It’s so frustrating. North are excellent to watch. Long may it continue.
  17. What is it with us? Do they hate us? Trac tripped, that [censored] was holding the ball and Goldstein ducked. All blatant. This is [censored].
  18. Most meh 8 goal win I’ve ever felt. Shame it feels like that but that’s how it is. Positives obviously Oliver and Viney. They didn’t have much to beat but they smashed them, not just beat them. This leads to Brayshaw, when Viney and Oliver are laying that sort of foundation he needs to have that 2nd half impact every time, not once a month. I really like Jackson. Wondered about drafting him. I wonder no more. That [censored] commentary team really didn’t help me enjoy the game either. Couch coach extraordinaire David King, we don’t give a [censored] what you would do, we care about what’s happening. Shut the [censored] up and go and coach your own team with your flawless strategy. Dermott paid by the word Brereton needs to shut the [censored] up too. Lever gets out marked once by Fogerty and it’s because they “would’ve played on each other so many times in training.” Really Derm? Might want to check if they ever trained together at all. And Eddie, thanks for the Collingwood history lesson. /rant
  19. I’m interested in Crocker’s tattoos and Seedsman being unlucky to be moved on.
  20. This Collingwood documentary is really interesting.
  21. Close. The only way we’re taking Cameron out of the game is by taking Cameron out of the game. May on Stef Martin revisited.
  22. I did 3 ACLs watching that.
  23. Smashing Hawthorn makes the apocalypse feel way better. Oscar has come in and said listen [censored], don’t listen to what Simon says, this is my world and this is how you’re setting up. Petrecca is something else. The balance and movement plus explosion stands out likes dogs balls in an era of ugly footy. Really bringing the joy back for me. Gawn took the [censored] all day. Oliver and Viney were a driving force. Bullies. Brayshaw half good half awful. Which one is really him? Jackson played a better game than Tomald has for 12 months. Promising stuff. Bennell and Kozzie also played really well up forward. So good to see Weed making a difference. And Langdon played like what Scully should’ve become. Speaking of Scully, best part was when a 200 kilo Italian ran away from him like he wasn’t there.
  24. With or without concussion issues he’s just not very good, at all. Would be absolute desperation and madness to even consider it. I expect to see him sign next week.
