I agree but Ablett has been pretty much BOG in every match, and there are at least 5 where he should defiantly get 3, so there is 15 with 8 games spare, if he score 1 in each of those or a 2 in some of those he could easily make 23. Bartel has not been as good this year, corey has been but is not as prominent in the umps mind, I would not be surprised if Ablett wins it with a record amount of votes.

If you look at watch winners (buckley, hird, voss etc) they all have one thing in common..... A good team around them and when they did not have a good team around them, they would not be exactly match winners either but would still rack up the possessions, and none of them were match winners at 21 either.

Squibed has been around for ever. Both were bad, but as Jaded said about Green, players can learn, some do not think just act, others think and you need to make sure they think and still do what is required, thats the challenge, you need to make them not want to disappoint their team mates and the leaders of the club should be the ones doing that constantly to show the way.
